Just FYI...
A video is up on MGoBlue of scrimmage from yesterday. Thoughts?

I disagree that this would not show up on a highlight video, only because we've seen this in previous highlight videos.
We'll see come September 5th.

From the highlights all three of the quaterbacks look good. Hopefully other than those highlights the defense played solid, on the plays they showed we still had issues tackling.

Tate looks the most polished of the QBs, IMO... and Denard's shoelaces appear to be tied? They certainly are not dangling around...maybe he tapes them down or something...

We are going to have the fastest player on the field at some points this season and it is going to be our QB. Very Strange, very very different.

...is sounding suspisciously like "truthitis" from mlive.....

You may be the only one who gives a shit. Let it go Tater, even with the South Florida Posse you caint defeat the trolls.

Tate deep pass to Matthews in the end zone. I love it.
Even the Coner was rolling out.

Turner catching Odoms from behind was nice, he had a good angle but the kids also got some wheels.

faster than I had anticipated. I think we're gonna shock some teams/analysts with our speed. Not only that but the hands looked better. Again, I know these were "highlights", but a lot of the passes completed in them would not have been made last year.
I agree 100% about Cox - a total beast.
Tate's pump fake and bomb were a sight to behold.
Oh, and on the weird throwing motion for Denard. All you need to do at the college level is have a mediocre throwing arm and killer speed to trick defenses. Lure them with the possibility of scramble and toss it over their heads to the wide open receiver/back. It worked for Meyer and Tebow at Florida, it can work for us. Good news for us is that the Big Ten is slower on defense than the SEC. Again, let me make sure that was read correctly..."on defense". The Big Ten is consistently on par with SEC offensive speed (i.e. remember Ted Ginn, wish I could forget Benn, and Pryor just ran an electronic-timed 4.38 40...now Denard is on the list, too.)
All I care about is that we don't make it an obvious "Cooper'esque" two-QB rotation. Everyone knew Stan Jackson was more a runner than passer and Germaine the deep threat. If we do that with our QBs we'll be screwed.

seeing this video gets me so pumped for this season. I hope we keep this up and become the suprise team in the Big Ten

I definately agree. I think we will put up a solid season and catch some teams off gaurd when were playing them. Hopefully ND is one of them and Ohio State
