Scouting Report: Justin Hilliard
This week I did a scouting report on Cincinnati (OH) St. Xavier linebacker Justin Hilliard. Hilliard is a kid that I've really liked since I first saw his sophomore highlights, and he looks to have grown significantly between his sophomore and junior years. I think he's probably the best linebacker prospect out of Ohio since Trey DePriest in 2011.

Why isn't he considering Ohio State?

Is Ohio State not interested in him or is it the other way around. Seems like he would be a lock for an offer from them.

I think OSU made up some ground recently after a couple of campus visits (and an offer).

247 Sports' Crystal Ball agrees with me.

You say he can play any LB position, but do you think if he came to Michigan he would be more likely to play Mike or Will over Sam?

I'm torn between WILL and MIKE. I think he could play either, but based on the rest of the recruiting classes/roster, I think WILL would be the best destination in Michigan's defense.

Hilliard would be a huge addition to our 2015 class if we could get him. I hope your prediction is wrong about his eventual college choice.

I agree that it would be huge...and I hope I'm wrong, too.
