Rivals just put an article saying that Posada is fully committed to Michigan.  Key passage:

Shortly before boarding his plane back to Tampa, Posada said he fully intended to sign with Michigan after having a chance to meet new head coach Brady Hoke and his staff.

"Coach Hoke and his staff are going to take this team to the next level and I am happy to be one of their players," Posada added.

First time for me guys. Be easy!

Sad that first time poster have to caveat their postings with disclaimers like this.

I, for one, appreciate the real-time info.  Thanks!

Thanks for info and check out MH20's post. This should give you an idea of how to make your thread a little better next time. Not being a dick, just trying to help a brother out.

I have a Rivals subscription, so yeah, I guess I have "insider" access, though to be truthful it gets here almost as quickly (and sometimes quicker) than the paysites.  I like reading posts on the Fort (message board on Michigan's Rivals site) and the articles by their mods.

Keep it up, you're doing just fine.

How much room do we have for offensive linemen in this class?

I see the following possibilities:

  1. Posada
  2. Jack Miller
  3. Jake Fisher
  4. Chris Bryant

That would be great, although the board has been all over the place on Fisher. If all four committed, would there be room for Zettel (understanding that there is really no chance and no interest, but strange things happen on signing day.)

I saw Zettel earlier this year and he played 5 positions.  DE was where he was least productive in the game I attended.  I don't recall him making any plays. He was unreal on the offensive line and at linebacker.  Maybe what I saw will make everyone feel better if we end up having a strong offensive line class, but he stays firm on Penn State.

I'm curious about something, what happend to the "gentlemans agreement" about not poaching recruits from B1G schools? I remember RR getting some backlash for this but haven't heard any complaints about Hoke doing it, not that I mind him doing it just curious. Also, how does the illini have 27 commits, I thought there was a B1G rule about only 25 to a class.

i wish someone could give more insight on zettel, whether hoke and co has been in contact with him since the hire.   zettel for whatever reason symbolically feels like the old school michigan player.

And how did the emo guy get out of there? When I see those negative point totals, I can't help but think of Conrad's The Heart of Darkness, where he says,

"The reaches opened before us and closed behind, as if the forest had stepped leisurely across the water to bar the way for our return. We penetrated deeper and deeper into the heart of darkness."

You appear to have gone deep into that mgodarkness.

They removed the soft verbal off of Blake Countess yesterday too. Last week he tweeted "Those who stay will be champions" after Hoke left his house. Then a few days later he tweeted something like "Tough decision, I'm torn" or something like that after Penn State's coaches visited. I haven't heard anything since. Has he publicly reaffirmed with UM?
