yes plz
But he'd better not be #1 in our programs. We don't need that "scandal" again...
we pulled a major recruit out of MD, let alone the #1 prospect?
What the Hell. -Jack Burton
Doug Dutch was a 4* WR - But I think he was DC, and not MD. Anyone?
Class of '97: 4 Years -- 4 Four-loss seasons
Dhani Jones is from Rockville, MD, isn't he?
"Come on, you Wolverines!"
Very close, he's from Potomac, MD. Actually went to my rival high school (although much earlier than me) Winston Churchill HS. Which happens to be the same hs that Jerome Dyson (UCONN) went to his freshman year.
I went to Quince Orchard...which HS did you goto...watkins mill?
Crab cakes and Football, that's what Maryland does!
He's only a three star...Maryland is only good for crabcakes! (sarcasm)

Well according to Scout, he's a 4 star safety.

But they are REALLY good for crabcakes. Never underestimate the power of a truly great crabcake.
Having grown up there, MD is hardly a football power house, but best in any state is nothing to sneeze at.
Scout really loves M recruits this year, huh?

Crabcakes and football! THATS WHAT MARYLAND DOES! Daquiri's? Daquiri's
On the fifth night—possibly the sixth—a breeze arose.
It was cool and dewy.
Rivals has him as a 3 star athlete, Scout has him as a 4 star safety, as already mentioned... This could very well mean that Scout just saw more of Furman, and from that, gave him an actual position, and from that, a better ranking. I know some people can play multiple positions, which is why Rivals likes to use the athlete tag, though it's easier to rank a player if you think they'll play a specific position. Scout thinks he'll be a 4 star S.
He should be a 4 star he had a great senior yr and playoff. If he went to florida he would be a 5 but thats another discussion.
It is true that Maryland doesn't normally produce huge amounts of talent but normally they at least produce a couple 4 * recruits from schools like Dematha and some of the other private Catholic schools by D.C. Southern Maryland has produced a few good ones here and there as well...i.e. A.J. Wallace and Larry Johnson.

One of the rare times we have beaten out Penn State with their obsession for Maryland recruits
