Scott Frost Would Rather Be Playing Any Other Team From Michigan

Submitted by BursleyHall82 on

Just saw this quote that he gave earlier this week to the Orlando Sentlnel:

"If you'd ask me whether I'd like to play Michigan or some other team in Michigan that might not be ranked in the top 10 in the country, I might not give you an honest answer on that," Frost said with a sly grin. "But listen, this game is on the schedule. I don't want our kids to be afraid to play anybody. I think our guys are excited to go up there and look that challenge in the face and take swings at them."

So, in one breath he says he's afraid to play Michigan, and in the next breath he says he doesn't want his kids to be afraid to play Michigan.

Sorry, Scotty, but you aren't coming up here to play Ferris State or Hillsdale.

And listen to your coach, boys. Be afraid. Be very afraid.

You'll find the article here.

How is this even disrespect?  He is saying that Michigan is really good and he'd rather play any other team.  Sounds like he is specifically avoiding providing bullettin board material. As if any is needed. (Michigan is a team of skilled hungry seniors and ambitious, talented freshmen eager to showcase why Harbaugh brought them in.  They are all in).

I just hope we're as talented as Ohio when The Game comes around. Those pricks lost a million players to the draft, yet they still look like they have blue chip talent all over the damn field. I'm assuming that it was their opponent that made them look good. As far as Staee goes, they looked like shit and will lose by 40 to Michigan if they continue on their current trajectory.

72 hours ago the name Scott Frost meant nothing to me.  If asked I might've remember him as a QB for Nebraska back in the day but odds are I'd have forgotten that completely.

Now?  Thanks to MGoBlog I feel like Scott and his mom are part of my family.  I'm guessing the "Frost Tasty Recipes" and "Most Beloved Christmas Carols - sung by the Frost Family" to be posted here anyday now.
