Scoreboard dimensions? Blueprints?
I was wondering if anyone had any insight on what the new HD megatrons will look like? From Brandon's quotes I imagine the whole thing to be larger than the current scoreboards and assume they will take on a more "widescreen" effect rather than the square shape of our current videoboads. I also do not quite expect something the size of Texas' one board b/c I am assuming there will be one in each endzone. Either way I am very excited for these upgrades to all three venues and I am particularly curious to see the blueprints of the improved Crisler b/c I love the location and proximity to the stadium. Thanks.
Go Blue!

I hope they don't screw it up and go small. It needs to be pretty big, not as big as texas, but not much smaller.

NSFW, in case you couldn't guess by the title.

The length should be 300 cubits (450 feet, or 135 meters); its width should be 50 cubits (75 feet, or 22.5 meters); it should have three stories and its height needs to be 30 cubits (45 feet, or 13.5 meters).

Wow havn't heard cubits used since they gave us Goliath's height in Bible school.

With those dimensions, we could put in additional seats behind the scoreboards.

There were some pics in here illustrating the projected difference in size based on Brandon's comments.

That's what the diagonal on a 30-40% larger scoreboard would be per a few posts in December http://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/projected-size-new-scoreboards
NICE!

I hope they make it so ridiculously big, it connects with the suites. Next year, we'll put a dome on top and cover it with flat screens to show everyone our wealth.

Just to knock it down a year later, to prove we can be loud.

Big enough that you can watch replays from the south side of South Quad?
