Steve picked 36th in the 6th round (201 overall)
Congrats to him and his family
Kudos Steve. Best of luck in SD. Make Michigan proud.
And even before that other lineman from that school down south
The family values guy?
But leaving M and going to tSIO had to hurt his draft status. Ironically, pro teams must have questioned his FB family values (inasmuch as a FB team is a family) with that move.
were looking like Michigan South, with Hall, Trent, Jones, and Perry
Is Miami now.
Patriots Michigan East. Maybe Philly.
Two Wolverines in sunny San Diego!! :D
great value in the 6th round
Nice doing business with yeah San Diego!
Mouton and Schilling in return for Hoke
what michigan seniors have a chance of being signed by a team without being drafted this year
Webb and Ezeh.
I doubt anyone gets more than a quick look by an NFL team though. Either may be able to play in the CFL, where Sagesse is likely to get drafted.
I wouldn't be all that surprised if Webb gets signed to a practice squad contract once this CBA thing gets figured out.
if Martell Webb is not on an nfl roster this year, actually. If there is one.
The strike was just lifted. We're safe.
is now back on , since the league was granted a stay request on the ruling that ended it. If the court decides to overule the previous ruling after the stay, there is no guarentee regarding the season. Both sides still seem pretty far apart.
Weather out in the west coast. Great news, happy for S. S. !
I've been checking in periodically to see where he'd go today. Definitely going to pick up some Chargers gear now, which I haven't had in a while.
I would be shocked if Ezeh gets picked up. He has to be one of the most disappointing Wolverines in recent history.
Congrats to Jonas & Steve.
In the immortal words of Sir Ron Burgundy, "San Diego, you're so wise. You're like a miniature Buddha covered in hair." (pet name = San Diego)
Good Karma flowing from San Diego!
Been a charger fan for years, and they take two Michigan players this draft. Congrats to Jonas and Steve can't wait to see you transition from Michigan Blue to Charger Blue!
Dear Justin Boren:
Those who stay.
this is the year I didn't renew my Chargers season tickets. Oh well, best of luck here in SD. Good to finally see the chargers pick up some michigan players.
It's okay just go south beach bar and grill and eat some fish tacos while you watch the game.
We'll see more linemen of Steve's character and ability in the next four years. He is a good one.
I will for sure go to a SD game with my Michigan jersey on. Too bad I don't have 8or 52.
"Too bad I don't have 8or 52."
I'd lay down cash on his Saints jersey. Schill gets to a starting role, you should
Now that would be one ugly jersey. Unless it was a lumberjack competition.
Give em hell Stevo. Congrats!!
SD projecting Schilling as a tackle.
Props to him and Jonas... They stuck with the program and deserve whatever they earn. Congrats Steve!!!!
