This really hurts our chances of landing JimBaugh. If OAK gives him all the control and his choice of GM, plus a truckload of cash, then why the fuck wouldn't he stay in the NFL? The guy would love the challenge that comes with rebuilding an organization. He wants total control like Pete Carroll has in Seattle, and if he gets it, then there is no fucking way he goes back to college. He's going to ride the NFL train until it kicks him off.

I work in the sports media industry and through some back channelling I heard Gruden to Oakland is done. Just riding out the season before announcing it.

The source is someone close to Gruden but whether or not he would actually know this....I can't say for sure.

I know Gruden got his start there, but this really has the same ring to it that the Dungy to Detroit rumors that flew around last year. The connection exists (Dungy is from the area), but the advantages of these guys leaving a job they love for long, stressful days seem minimal. It's possible he takes the job, but I certainly know what I would do if it was me.

So long as Mark Davis has that bowl cut, there are no flattering photos of Mark Davis to be found on the Internet (and even then, it's not likely such a thing exists). Actually, I am surprised that a considerble sum of the Raiders' resources are NOT being put towards tracking down what thoughtless stylist would rcommend that hairstyle and to ascertain how they talked Davis into it.

He will need to top Michigan and come up with something to lure Jim to a losing team. Giving up 3 years of draft picks isn't much of a lure.

Not a good fit.

AA is a perfect fit for Harbaugh.

It's NFL Sunday they will talk NFL Sunday, Monday & Tuesday.

Talk College Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday.

We get more days, college is bigger and better than the NFL.
