News to Illinois! We're happy we beat you because it means we're going dancing. We wouldn't give a rat's ass if we had to beat South Butthole State in this game. All we cared about was the win to go dancing.
I'm glad we didn't have to play South Butthole State today. They're dirty on the inside and I'm not sure we have the length to get through. Either way, it would have been a tight one.
North Butthole State is another story. They seem to stay above all that crap.

In football maybe. In basketball, IU is definitely ahead of us (they already didn't like them, and then the Eric Gordon thing cranked it up more), probably Purdue as well. Not sure if any of them still hate Iowa, for a while they hated them because Bruce Pearl ratted Illinois out to the NCAA.
And yes, Illinois fans get a nice smirk whenever someone mentions Bruce Pearl these days.
It's so nice to be on the other side of the line, enjoying a sweet victory by the boys in blue. Interesting/funny reading all of the ticked Illini fans, but I hope they pull it together and represent the Big Ten well in the NCAA tourney!
I was thinking I would rather be glad Michigan won but this is fun, reading those comments. Beat the university of cheaters

I have to say that I would be at defcon 2 if I were an Illinois fan. They lost that game because they played stupid down the stretch. How you go away from the high-low game after it's been working all day is beyond me. How Tisdale only scores 10 points in that game is beyond me.
I'm over the moon that we won. I'm just saying that from their perspective this has got to be absolutely brutal.
BTW, I hope you guys like my unintentional misspelling of "chance." It sort of adds to the vibe, I think.
