since all "bags" are going to be banned from the Big House, does that mean that on November 21 that the DOUCHEBAG Justin Boren will not be allowed? Seriously, a nominee for the "douchebag of the week" should be given to anyone who starts pissing and moaning about Denard when he comes into the game and runs. Just as an answer to all of the Michigan fans that worry about it, yes Denard can throw. But he is a kid and it is part of the process that we must go through to get to where we want to be. So if on Saturday a person in your row starts bitching about Denard, call them a dbag and get there name and we can post it here next week. TOP 5 D-BAGS FOR THIS WEEK 1. Justin Boren 2. Mark "The Bagger" Dantonio 3. Kirk Cousins 4. Ben Chappell 5. Terrelle Pryor (as in prior to my time at OSU, I used to be a good QB)

As long as we all don't have to take off our shoes at the gates.....ahhhh, life as we know it, post 9/11/01. A scary world indeed. If you notice anyone get out a bic lighter and start trying to light their freaking shoes, don't bother getting security - just start pounding the @!#$%^&*().

it had to fit through a plastic measuring device. You cant take plastic bags in, which I found odd. Even more odd was that there were people walking around with them inside the stadium. Which I don't care, the rule is the rule, but my wife and I got a couple shirts and some other items and we parked a 20 min walk away. So that kind of sucked. So I cant imagine how many people got stuff before the game and had the same dilemma as us.

Haha, sorry, I was just messing around. But in all honesty, at the hotel I was staying, there was a sign that listed prohibited items at the stadium. A purse was one of them, so I made my girlfriend leave her purse in the car (Parked on State street by Frieze...er..North Quad.) To spite the stadium, she decided to sneak flasks of sweat tea vodka in her cowgirl boots. (Must be a southern thing) If I had a dollar for every time a guy commented on her boots, I could have bought her implants.

If they sell lemonade in the Big House (I hardly ever bought anything so I don't remember) the sweet tea vodka is the superior booze to sneak in until it's cold out. The John Daly is the greatest and most dangerous summer booze beverage ever. I don't care what Simmons is trying to call the John Daly, the real John Daly is sweet tea vodka and lemonade, the booze version of the Arnold Palmer. The superior cold weather beverage is of course either brandy or bourbon, straight out of the flask. Bourbon in coffee is solid too.

They have been doing this all year. I went to the first two games and had to go back to my car to put my camera case away and my wife had to go back and put her purse away, or you had the option to check them in Crisler. They were only allowing bags that are no larger than 3x5 inches.

I called up the public info person at the Police dept for clarification this morning. I've got a small digital camera that is less than 3" x 5" even in its case, but she told me that I cannot bring the case in. I can bring only the camera itself. Which sucks from a camera protection standpoint.

Back in the 80s and early 90s you couldn't bring in camera cases or binocular cases either. They seemed to have laxed the rules in prior years. Regarding the plastic bag issue: take the clothes/items out of the bag. Put the bag in your pocket, carry items inside. Once inside, remove bag from pocket, put clothes/items in bag. Solved.

After 9/11 it was no bags, then they loosened it up to 5x8 inches. In other words, the "only small bags" policy has been in place for several years. Apparently there are new concerns and they're going back to no bags, period.

I can't say for sure this is related, but I am in and out of Ford Field frequently and yesterday I was stopped so security could search my laptop bag. This had never happened so I asked about the new policy. They said "people" were making peroxide bombs so security was heightened. It looks like the AD isn't taking any chances and just banning all bags to be safe.
