I have shed more tears these last couple days....

Great article, Burke will be missed.

Hell of a kid, Blessing from above for Michigan.

Loved this team.

"Defined by the perfect moment, when the best player I’ve ever watched in maize and blue pulled The Dagger out of Michigan’s still-beating heart, wiped off the blood, and used it to carve his name into history."

I have to say, here the author sort of captures how I felt at that moment too - we were down but not out and Trey Burke managed to do something so memorable that it will be discussed and relived for a long time. "The Dagger" is a great name for it too, for it didn't seem like any other shot that would be called that.

I seem to remember this interview quote too from Trey, soon after he committed to Michigan: "They have a young team, and I can tell that when I get there, we’re going to do some special things.”

They are things we won't forget for a long time indeed.

Very interesting, well-written piece, I thought. Thanks for sharing it.

for having a short attention span. I feel sorry for you if you must first scan the length of an article before you decide if you are capable of reading it. Life is not a tweet. This was a great article. You are going to miss out on a lot of good information and entertainment with that limitation.

It was a lot of work, and the second longest thing I've ever written (the longest was an undergrad research paper for Phil 402) but I had a blast writing it and just hope I did Trey's career justice.

But yeah, tl;dr and all that.
