They started Blanco against Florida, and I don't think she has hardly pitched since then. Wonder if she will contribute much this year on the mound (I know she is batting quite well). Would be nice to have a solid 3rd option.
Sidenote: does Michigan have a major pitching recruit for next year ? I know we have Crockett who might develop, but pitching could take a step back next year.

No, it will be Betsa / Blanco / Crockett next season.
But Meghan Beaubien comes in the year after and will very likely be the ace from day one.

Would like to have seen Blanco or Crockett come in and pitch the 7th inning and get some experience, but the coaches must not think a 6 run lead is enough for them.
