SB Redeems Themselves
The SB defeated UCF in the second game in Tampa 4-3. Sara gets the win in relief after Megan had a slow start. Susella and Christner both hit HRs today for the win.
Sara pitched 5.2 innings. She gave up 0 runs off 3 hits. She had 4 Ks and 0 BBs. Megan started the game and pitched only 1.1 innings and gave up 3 runs (2 ER) on 4 hits. She had 3 Ks and 1 BB.
A nice rebound from the earlier game against Florida.

Overall, a solid day. Losing by 1 to the top team in the land in your season opener is nothing to be ashamed of, and I'm glad to see Driesenga pitch well in game 2. We'll see better out of Betsa in the future for sure.

I thought they played USF in Tampa? UCF (Univ. of Central Florida) is in the Orlando area.

Bulls uniforms, home field press box and scoreboard, Sara Nevins honored pregame...
Also UCF was in Orlando playing Boston College and George Mason yesterday.
