SB Open Thread vs SDSU
Team 37 plays SDSU tonight in the elimination game tonight on ESPNU. Haylie will get the ball as she is pitching very well currently. She had one bad pitch against ASU and a tough error from Romo which led to a 4-1 loss.
We have to get the bats hot. Haylie looks like she is all good so the bats need to pick up so that we can play tomorrow. We will need to win twice tomorrow.

Welp, the team is continuing to screw up the fundamentals but luckily the other team did the same. Still gonna have to get it together if they want to win this game and have any shot at advancing past this weekend.

And Sara is a senior who has had a very good career. Her pitching hasn't been as good as expected this year but it would be nice if she could participate in what could potentially be her last game at Michigan.
Edit: Sorry, Sara is a Junior. Thought she was a Senior but she is not. Also, if Sara is good next year Michigan will be absolutely stacked with her, Wagner, Betsa, and Blanco.

I cannot remember the last time Hutch made a bad decision. Its been 5 years at least that I can remember. Oh well, we will give Coach a pass on this one.
This base running would drive my crazy as a coach. I have no idea what Blanchard was doing on 2nd earlier in the inning. And now it ends up costing us a run since she would've been on 3rd instead of 2nd.
Hutch sent her home. Blanchard is usually subbed for Virgil as a pinch runner.
I was referring to earlier when the 2nd baseman bobbled the ball. She was watching Romero on 3rd the whole time I don't know why she didn't go to 3rd after seeing her go home. Then after she went back to 2nd, she started to almost fake going to 3rd with the 1st basement staring her down with the ball.
Just seemed like her head was out of it for a minute.

We need Betsa to pitch this game so Wagner can rest her arm for tomorrow.
