SB Nation/CBS bowl projections

They're useless, they're worthless, but we all look at them.

I'd be very sad if this happened.

TaxSlayer Bowl

Michigan vs Florida

or...

Michigan vs LSU

Maybe not so sad if this happened. Capital One is good, right? I rather Michigan be in the Peach Bowl if I had to choose a non-playoff bowl.

LOL, looks like SB Nation hasn't adjusted their projection for the Braxton injury. I think Michigan gets a better bowl than ohio this year.

My only frustration is that we lost such a winnable game, and if we'd pulled it out, this would have been considered one of the all-time iconic moments in Michigan football history.

God that was a hilariously lame attempt by linebacker no. 44 to jump over no. 2 in pursuit of Denard. Contrast with Funchess' hurdle.  [insert racially insensitive remark re: leaping abilities of pigmentally-challenged people here]

I went to the then Gator Bowl when Michigan played in it against Mississippi State, since I lived only a couple of hours away.  The game itself was pretty horrible, as everyone remembers, but it's a good stadium and a good atmosphere.  (The Mississippi State fans were wonderful, although the damn cowbells got annoying fast.)

Hopefully, Michigan has a good enough season to get invited to a better bowl, but I wouldn't mind going back to Jacksonville for another bowl game if it comes to that.  I'd recommend others go as well: Jacksonville is a relatively inexpensive city and, if you love the beach or golf, there's lots to do.  If you don't, then there's, uh, considerably less to do other than watch Michigan play football and be comfortable in short sleeves despite it being January while watching them.
