The SB and UM players in it

Submitted by bighouseinmate on

To start off, I'm going to say that I want Pittsburgh to win the game. I am a Bears fan, so the idea of GB winning is just wrong.

Woodson is one of my favorite ex-UM players of all time though, so if he gets the win and a ring, I'll be ok with it.  I just really dislike those guys. I'd love to see Woodson get a couple of sacks, an Int. return for a TD, and he ends up winning the MVP award.

Woodley and Foote are two more of my favorite ex-UM players, so if they get another ring it would be cool.

No matter who wins, I want to see Rodgers get broken in half at the start of the game. I really cannot stand the guy and his attitude, particularly his "Championship belt" move after making a TD.

I wouldn't say that Rodgers gets Tebow-like attention.  I have never heard a commentator say that spending five minutes with Rodgers made him a better person like I heard with Tebow and this is coming from a Lions fan.

Packer fan here in good ol' Wisconsin.

You bears fans are all so bitter, it's hilarious. The bears were one of the most overrated teams i can ever remember. From the very start with CJ's catch being overturned, you've lucked into wins against a less than stellar schedule all year long, then got a gift with the Seahawks in the playoffs. It's laughable.

All the packers have done is make it to the super bowl with 17 players on IR, 8 of them very important contributors including a 1,000+ yd RB (Grant) and one of the most dangerous weapons in the passing game in the entire league (Finley).

The Steelers are a damn good team though. I think it will come down to ball control and in the end the pack spreading out the steelers and Rodgers doing surgery on their secondary.

While I'll be rooting for Woodley and Foote, I hope Charles has a stellar game and the Pack stomp the Steelers.

However, i predict a very close, epic game with a great finish: 31-30 Pack.

RODGERS MVP FOR ALL YOU JEALOUS BEARS FANS!!!!!! (though i really want charles to get it!)

I'm rooting for Woodson. I'd love to see him add a SB ring to his trophy case, as Woodley and Foote already have one.

Would he be the only person to win a Heisman, National Championship, Defensive MVP, and Super Bowl? I can't think of anyone else..

I like the championship belt celebration, brings some fun to the game. And no, none of the Bears are arrogant a**wipes...definitely not their QB. This reminds me of a Jets season-long trash talker (Cromartie) who complains when an opposing player (Brady) has the audacity to trash talk after taking the Jets to the house.

FYI I'm not a Packers fan, but Rogers is good. Spades...just call them spades. Anyway, Go Woodson! Woodley and Foote already have rings! :)

Check this roster, including the PAT kicker.  This is the team Dick LeBeau would join in 1959 to be part of perhaps the greatest secondary ever.  Said LeBeau is of course still coaching with the Steelers!

Oh, and Layne got injured against the Bears and did not play in the great comeback against SF at Kezar, nor in the Stomping of the Browns.  Tobin Rote was the Man.

In 1957, the Pack finished dead last, just behind the Bears.  Detroit ruled.  But alas, we know the rest of that story.

Enjoy.

In one corner, you have my all time favorite Michigan player, Charles Woodson. In the other corner, you have my least favorite team in the NFL. I haaate the Steelers, and even though I like Woodley, the Steelers are just too unbearable as a team to support in anything. They just suck from top to bottom. Their fans are obnoxious and incredibly annoying. You have Big Ben, you have Hines Ward...I hate everything about that organization.

I've watched a lot of Packers games this season because 1. they've been on TV 2. Woodson. I've grown to really like the team. Aaron Rodgers isn't arrogant nor an a$$w!pe. He's pretty much everything you would want from a quarterback. I guess any good quarterback on your top rival, you're going to feel that way about. I probably feel that way about Roethlisberger or Manning.

Anyway, I'm rooting for the Packers. Like what has been mentioned above, I would really like to see CW21 get the SBMVP. The Packers have a lot of talent though and I could see any number of players taking it (Jennings, Rodgers, Matthews, Tramon to name a few others). It should be a good game though. I'm finally getting over the disappointment of my team not being in the SB.

If you want to know how strong Jay Cutler's arm is, just ask him.

Jay Cutler fans calling Aaron Rodgers arrogant when Rodgers' opposing QB payed a janitor $100 to sanitize a bathroom that said QB had just locked himself into along with a female would be laughable if it wasn't so appalling.
