Roy is playing in the Raycom and BWC in the Shrine. Also haven't seen an ODT yet today; let's kill two boards with one stone.
EDIT: Raycom is on CBS Sports and Shrine is on NFL Network.
How bout the Blackhawks up 4 goals on the defending champs?
I miss the old Norris Division.
Jameson and PBR.
I got my first case shipped to my house last night, and of course it's amazing! Easily my favorite Bells' brew.
I didn't know this service was offered. Would they ship to my house in FL?
HOCKEY IS BACK DRINK
Roy looks really good blocking downfield and is returning punts. He could be a good later round pickup in the draft.
Solid block by roy for a TD
Lots of stalemates and some standing around. Roy looks pretty good, though.
I have four Weihenstephaner pints, glad to be watching hockey again.
I am enjoying the Raycom College Football All-Star Classic and a nice Cabernet as I prepare dinner here. Roasted chicken with asparagus and a potato medley. After that, more wine and some basketball, followed by the Red Wings game at 8 PM.
...by Charles James in the Raycom and then PBU.
That kid got skills.
Michelob Amberboch and having a slice at Buccillis in Houghton Lake. Fantastic Pizza.
Roundtree with a very difficult over the shoulder grab.
EDIT: Go Nannooks; Beat ND!
Diet coke after a 2+ mile walk/hike with the wife and dog.
No drinking until dinner, which is 830 tonight. Howard County (MD) restaurant weke.
Drinking a Sam Adams maple pecan porter from the spring sampler.
I am drinking a Mikes Hard Cranberry that's been in my fridge since August. Waste not want not.
Some Rogue Dead Guy Ale for now, but I'll be having Upland in a little while with some Jager most likely mixed in. 3 day weekends in med school are a beautiful thing.
Way to go, Roy! Does anyone know when Senior Bowl practice starts?
And Go Blackhawks (by default)!
Rogue is fantastic. So it Deschutes. And pretty much all the Oregon beer.
I live in Eugene, and I'm spoiled rotten.
Nothing beats a Belgian Blonde.
Pens beating Philly 2-1 7:00 to go in the 3rd. Glad to see some hockey back in action (though I'm not a hockey fan like I am basketball and football, I do enjoy it).
Out eating and drinking earlier, had a Ayinger Celebrator, New Belgium Lips of Faith Tart Lychee, and Evil Twin Lil'B...a varitey leaving me with a buzz as I get home to watch more sports.
at least the Jets are winning even though the Pens and Hawks are winning as well...
Do we have a Michigan fan in Winnipeg?
Shooting guns... drinking bush lite n watching these horrible games....lol
I live in Korea, 14 hours ahead of AA time. These drinking threads just aren't the same when my answers are:
Small cup of orange juice and large mug of coffee.
Coffee + Bailey's / OJ + Stoly = Happy Hour.
Ir's always 5 p.m. somewhere!
of course... I thought that was understood.
Drinking a cup of kona coffee right now - my favorite.
Tonight the wife and I will be drinking some red diamond Cabernet to go with her homemade penne w/meat sauce and homemade apple pie. Yup, I have a wife that not only loves football, but who enjoys cooking and baking for fun.
Dinner at Yardhouse where I'll be consuming mulitple Foothills Brewing Hoppyum's (Winston Salem) and then Silver Linings Playbook at the local theatre.
Dan Dakich (color guy for ESPN) just busted Ted Valentine (referee) in the Sparty-Ohio game. Valentine went to make some sort of sideline warning to the bench (something along those lines) but a stoppage of play occured. Dakich says, and this is paraphrased, "ESPN primetime game, you know Teddy Valentine is going to make a call. He's going to show himself to everyone". I found this funny as hell. Teddy V. is notorious for being a bit of a showman in his officiating and Dakich calling him on in is great.
Too dan dakich multiple times a week. The guy is a self righteous prick, but he makes some pretty good points, sometimes.
Blue Moon Belgian White with some Chicklen Parmesan pizza.
Wow, chicken parmesan pizza sounds good.
Who do we have playing in the Collegiate Bowl? Is that Mealer playing RT? And is he wearing one of the matte helmets? Holding his own at tackle so far out there.
Edit: I meant RG.
Rolling Rock (I'm in Philly, after all)
"Go Leafs Go"
Rolling Rock is NOT a Philly beer. It's maybe a Pittsburgh beer (Iron City notwitstanding), but certainly not Philly. Yuengling is the only mass-produced beer one can fairly associate with Philly, even though it's brewed in Pottsville. If you order a "lager" in the Delaware Valley, it's a Yuengling that you will receive. All that said, I hope you're enjoying time in my hometown. Try Steve's Prince of Steaks on Bustleton Ave. for the real deal. Geno's, Pat's and Jim's are for the tourists.
I get it...I posted with some irony as Bud/Anheuser purchased Rolling Rock a few years back and now makes it in Newark, NJ for heaven's sake. As a Temple grad student I'm in Philly a lot...I like Yeungling but I'm watching UFC so the RR seemed right.
I am enjoying your home town; just got back from the Dandelion Pub near Rittenhouse Square
"Go Blue" times 10000, but if there's anything left over after that, "Fight, Fight, Fight for the Cherry and the White!"
Enjoy, my friend!
Clarkie, aren't u boycotting?
Can't help it.
and Sparty OSU. Will sample the margaritas at Casa Moreno soon. Need moar sunscreen.
Found a six pack of Hopslam I am enjoying that tonight.
Nearly bought a case for $65. So good but can't spend that kind of money.
Holy Denard Robinson this stuff is good! Plus, the distillers have Ann Arbor roots, but are now operating out of Denver, the site of Brian's dream future bowl game locale.
Suggested Bulliet's Rye back last summer, and I have come to really like it (in comparison, I find it more enjoyable than (ri), which costs nearly 3x as much!). Rye is becoming one of my favorite spirits ever since the price of single malt scotch went through the roof!
Smirnoff, lime, raspberry flavored soda water, splash of cran-raspberry juice. Good stuff.
