Thought I'd pop in & update that N.C. State is doing their usual Jekyll & Hyde by not only beating UNC but whooping their behinds (yes, UNC is down this year).

About to tap into my voluntarily last six pack of Bells Best Brown. I always end drinking it right around my bday.

Mgobrewery tip: if any one wanders down 94 going towards Chicago/NWI, stop into Greenbush Brewery in Sawer,MI. It is literally one if the best breweries and craft seasonal beer spots I have ever had the pleasure of drinking. I have drank over 1000 different beers in my time and it truly is amazing. $12 growlers out the door to boot.

Drinking 7 year old bourbon and coke.  Will probably have a glass of scotch later to celebrate the Derrick Green pickup and the fact that PSU beat MSU in hockey.

HAIL TO THE VICTORS!!

I just still can't believe the job that Hoke did to get Green, especially given the post earlier about how it's near impossible to pull top backs from the South.  Can't wait to see him on the field.

A bit of great divide and mikeller earlier and some Great Lakes Edmund Fitz now with a touch of hockey (and some princess bride on commercials- I'm a sucker for that movie)

Nothing like a good ale. They get better the more I have. Very hoppy, but not overwhelmingly so. Almost a citrus taste. Very good nonetheless. Go blue.

Newish place in San Diego..great, GREAT beer... Just filled my growler with "Pupil" which is an IPA with Nelson hops. Crazy good after being out of Cali drinking crappy AZ beer. (( sorry, but true )) #greengoblue Woo Hoo!!

Happiness abounds. Finished a 5' square portrait of Kid Rock. Thankfully lost track of time, avoided the crash, and now know the great news.
(I'm sure Beam and Cokes from 10:00 till 9:00 (paced myself, but still) had nothing to do with losing track of time.) Yes, the painting turned out great.
Having the last of the fifth now, and turning in (way too early for a 30 year old on a Saturday) soon.

Made it out to the DC area--Virginia and DC both got a bit--and it sold out immediately. Had it on tap at Churchkey in DC and was lucky to find a few bottles. Almost every store was hand selling with a 1 bottle limit.

Based on your posts, it would seem we share an appreciation for chasing down the best beers particularly IPAs. Lots of great stuff out West where you are. Obviously the Russian River stuff is great, but also love the Alpine brews. Was hoping to find a way to get the Kern River Citra DIPA this year but that ship may already have sailed.

Drinking bourbon on the rocks and watching this crazy homemade video our midwife is making us watch. This is for kid two... So I don't feel like we need to watch it!
