Saturday Night Drinking Thread
I have a six pack of Bells Porter and I may very well down it all. If that isn't enough I have a 12 year old Glenlivet to keep me company.
OP, I'm curious what you think about Snow Day. I was disappointed, personally. It is the first New Belgium I've had that I didn't like that much.
It is kind of like it wants to be an ipa but they didn't have enough hops on hand.
Still rockin the Dirty Bastard via Founders. Gotta love it.
I'm drinking a tall bottle of bleach.
I'm completely sober. I might as well feel the pain now and get over it.
Short's soft parade right now, Founders Centennial in the fridge for later
If I still feel the bitterness, I have some New Holland Beer Barrel Bourbon that I got yesterday that is fantastic.
We just came home from the Toledo Zoo Lights so the kids could be fascinated by the lights and I could distract myself from thinking about this afternoon's game, but for now, a bottle of Alamos Malbec...possibly to be followed by a bottle of Mouton Cadet if this malbec fails to soothe.
...I'm coming off a bad sinus infection and I can barely run my own life, so I'm open to suggestions for tonight/tomorrow morning.
Just vodka. Time to black out.
After spending some time on the west coast; I discovered Sierra Nevada Pale Ale in cans. Brought 5 twelve packs home to Montana with me only to discover that my grocery store now has them. No glass recycling in Montana so it's always nice to have cans.
Currently on the Rye IPA.
Rogue's Santa Private Reserve
And a box of tissues
found a gift set of Canadian Club with two glasses for twelve bucks. That with Coke and a drop or two of grenadine will be the story of the night here. At least there will be good music to be had, since I can't even watch M v. Cornell hockey.
I mean, why the hell not.
Here pissed off, can't get the game out of my mind, I'm drinking New Belgium Fat Tire 22 oz'ers. Fuck Ohio.
Everything, I'm drinking every damn thing coming my way...
I like this thread... much more tasteful, complete sentences and no one talking about firing anyone. Couple of Strongbows should do the trick while hoping USC will put away the Domers.
Rocks. Lots of it.
currently, however, knob creek single barrel because it has that extra kick for sad times.
Jameson and caramel pecan apple pie, great combination
We need a FIRE SAvoodoo!!!!! thread. Not because you're incompetent or anything, but because everyone should be jealous.
I bought a 12 of Shiners variety pack plus a bottle of Stoli and a bottle of Sobieski Vodka. I'm mixing the Sobieski with cranberry and OJ. I'm trying to maintain control but after the "Call me Tenorman" thread I'm mixing another tall one and gonna get fucked up.
... in the vodka and cranberry. You'll get the orange flavor and replace that relatively healthy orange juice with possibly more helpful alcohol.
This comes as close as I can figure
Apparently Michigan Hockey is giving me another reason to drink tonight
Captain and Vernors. Honey Jack and Coke are ready when I finish the handle of Capt.
Got a growler of Laughing Dog Citra IPA that they apparently brewed special for the 10th anniversary of Capital Ale House (VA bar/restaurant with a handful of locations). Figured it was a good night to drink the whole thing.
Hamms beer. Cheap, terrible beer. It's one of those nights.
How is Snow Day? I'm having homemade apple pie shots mixed with The Knot, a 100 proof Irish whiskey. Soon it will be straight whiskey.
I consider snow day a light ipa. Good not great but you can have 3 or 4 of them
A Martini and a bigass bottle of Fat Tire. And Die Hard on the tube.
Highland Park 12 year. Cuts the pain quickly. All the Domers here in the Chicago area are going to be insufferable for the next month.
Buffalo Trace to be exact. Sorry honey, short of Kate Upton sitting on my lap, I'm not getting it up tonight.
BT is my favorite of the standard bourbons. Cheers
