Saturday night drankin' thread
Bottle of red
Bottle of White
It all depends upon your appetite...
Sounds like Yeezus is motivated to get drunk, perhaps soil the bed.
Hodor just cracked a bottle of Saugatuck Brewing Co. ESB Amber. Very very tasty. Hodor gonna fly tonight.
Trick luv da kids
for me. Would've grabbed another Stone Enjoy By but I bought the store out.... lol.
Don't worry, I'll drink one for you.
I view it as karma, I never buy out the supply when I find Enjoy By.
7/4 is a little more floral, less bitter this go around.
I'm sitting here drinking a Grape Powerade zero, watching the Tigers. I'm about to eat a steak the size of Nebraska, and after dinner I'll be enjoying a Founders Centennial IPA. And then I'll play Battlefield 4 on my ps4.
I don't have anything fancy tonight - I have been enjoying a generous helping of Angry Orchard Traditional Dry Cider since about the middle of the Nigeria-Bosnia match and now with the Tigers game. Until a few moments ago, I was actually doing all this while sitting on the porch on what has been a very nice evening as well, the first day without rain in a while.
was also enjoying some Angry Orchard. tastes so good...
yup, bottle is still in front of me. Mexican Scoth. Bottle of Centenario Reposado Tequila. Reposado just means it's aged a bit more-still some nasty shit but will get you to the end of the journey.
I think some celebratory Buffalo Trace bourbon is in order after winning the long drive contest at the golf outing I attended today.
I've been moving away from single malts to small batch bourbons. Please share your recommendations. Thanks
Living in KY I can recommend any Colonel Taylor, Weller 12 year (impossible to find Here, plentiful in other states), Elijah Craig 18 year / barrel proof, any of the Buffalo Trace antique collection (eg, Eagle rare 17 year), any pappy (at retail price, good luck finding it), and bookers.
I will sample and report back.
Two Hearted...in cans. It's weird.
can, too. With a weird illustration of a couple of...carp(?) on a weird-colored peuter-and-orange can. At least it doesn't taste weird.
Drinking one now in celebration of a Tigers win.
not an avid fisherman, I gather!
carp. The carton containing the 4-pack has the traditional illustration of trout you always find on the bottles and 6-pack, but on the can, it looks like a couple of weird carp doing some weird mating ritual or something. Seriously. Take a good look at the 16-oz can and tell me what you see.
The contents were as good as ever, though.
Open bar at a graduation party on a humid evening going down very easily. May not make it to 11:00 before crashing : )
About to crack a Bruery Trade Winds. If it's anything like the rest of their beer, I'll be very happy.
It's really their ONLY beer I dislike.
It was ok. Most of their stuff is mind-blowing. This was not. I've moved on to Michters American Whiskey in the rocks.
This party's gonna be off the hook!
2 percent white milk
C'mon man- at least go bit with the whole milk!
Ordered a Mojito at Red Lobster in Tampa. Hope it's good. Nice to have a night out while my mother in law watches the kids.
You got that champagne taste.
How much do you love UM sports if you get a night out and you touch base with mgoblog while you're out? I salute your passion, sir!
Drinking high life , trying to move on from another failed relationship and these damn Tigers.
Remember alcohol is a depressant.
Porn...is a stimulant.
but have one question---when did they change the name of the little town of Sawyer to Greenbush? I must have missed it in the Herald-Palladium (which isn't surprising since I haven't subscribed to it in about 5 years or so).
You're right about Greenbush being a solid brewery, though. I've liked everything of theirs I've tried so far, but have a lot more to try yet, including the Porter you mentioned in your OP.
on the details there. Although I have no problem conceding defeat to a fellow Michianian.
Chillin' by the pool.
Petoskey brewing North 45.
Old Style Man Cans.
Man Cans - that will be my new name for testicles.
Haha I like that
Summer sampler. First was the blueberry which was surprisingly good not sure what will be next.
And 5 oz of formula to make the little guy pass out. Then I can bring out the big guns.
New holland sundog amber ale
steak on the grill - good combo
30th Street IPA
sitting by the pool. drying off after a great swim.
