At the moment a Sam Adams Merry Mishchief (Gingerbread Stout).  An X-mas holdover I never had over the holidays.  Not bad.  Having it along some half-assed stir-fry I put together (shimp, steak, chicken fired rice); let's just say I won't be woking at any Hibachi grill-type restaraunt any time soon. /1st world problems

Go Hawkeyes, by the way.

Indiana is currently in the lead despite technically shooting worse than Iowa - actually, quite a bit worse. 29.4% to 41.1% for effective FG%, as a matter of fact. Iowa just made the first three of the game, making Iowa and Indiana 1-17 collectively in that regard.

Indiana has 12 offensive rebounds and virtually nothing to show for them and yet they lead.

we would face PSU and then OSU. It would suck not getting the first day bye, but I would love a tie breaker game with PSU. Minnesota beat PSU by 29 today.

It's almost Sunday, I am feeling a steady buzz that will continue for a while. We have a huge game tomorrow. Although my optimism has decreased over the last 1-2 months I am starting to get fired up. If you cannot get pumped up for your team, regardless of recent losses, than what kind of fan are you? Josh brings out the Novak within from the bench tomorrow and we get the vocal rage we all admire so much!

Pretty long list for me tonight.  Started with a Double Crooked Tree that was way to young, moved to a Duck Rabbit barleywine, then went out on an anniversary date with my wife whereupon we drank a bottle of Margaux and finished with some Cointreau and now I'm at home drinking Dogfishhead's Olde School.  It was the first "date" we've had since our son was born in August.  She's asleep (read passed out) and I'm reading mgoblog.

Home-made margaritas.

Hand-squeezed lime juice with agave syrup, Patron Citronge + Silver, and ice cubes.

Trying to get in the tropical spirit while planning our anniverary trip in 4 weeks.
