Living proof that talent only takes you so far. That game was hard to watch because the only thing poor Kansas knew how to do was jack up threes. No offensive movement, no coaching. And when you don't make your shots for 1 of your 6 tourney games, you get upset like Kansas does every year.

I still say we were the better team on Thursday night and had them beat playing far from our best.

Styles really do make matchups, though, and Oregon was probably better able to match up with Kansas.

What it sure seems like Kansas did to that girl - all the reading I've done says what they did to her and how they took Vick and Jackson's side - fuck Bill Self and his dirty ass program.

Have to give props to Oregon going into that environment and just punking Kansas.

Argh, I'm a little sick that we had the team beat that won our region. No changing that, though, I suppose.

I guess I'm happy that Oregon won. Every year just about, it's Kansas with that #1 seed and every year they get spanked. So tired of the treatment they get and having the past two games in their backyard is just sickening. I bet that crowd was 90 to 95% Jayhawks fans and they drove a maximum of 1 to 3 hours across that shithole state. What is so damn great about the Big12 anyway? Give Purdue that game in Indy the other night and it's a different ball game. To hell with Kansas. Hope their program never recovers. Why do they get such good players every year too? Bagmen? Who was last good Jayhawk in the NBA? Jacquez Vaughn? Frickin losers.

the more time moves on, especially if Oregon wins the whole thing. So many 'what-ifs' Thursday, so many unusual plays or results for a team that prides itself on the least turnovers. Take one of those silly plays away and we could be talking about the game going into overtime or an outright win.

I feel for the guys, so close to moving on and yet...no. They WERE a team of destiny. And now they're not.

To be fair, Oregon's defense it tough to prep for on a short turnaround, but God Kansas had no offensive flow once they realized the paint was off limits because of Bell. Good to see Kansas lose, but it hurts because we had Oregon beat. Oh well.

Yes, different teams play each other differently.  Just because Oregon forced Kansas to take bad shots outside does not mean that we would have.

Oregon was a better matchup for us in that in that their ability to shut down the inside game was not as relevant against us.

Still would have liked the chance to at least see what we could have done against Kansas . . .

As we went to Peppers autograph signing today in Toledo I made the most of having to cross into Ohio and picked up some Yuengling Lagerfeld and Porter.

We played Oregon absolutely even and then they destroyed Kansas. The committee absolutely screwed up the seeding of B1G teams.

We lost by one in one of our lesser performances the past 2 months. The committee is a joke. That said, we had our chances and lost. Time to put steel in our spines and have MAAR and X step up their roles next year to compensate for losing our two seniors
