Saturday CBB open thread
Games of note, with team we should root for in bold:
Wisconsin and Indiana are in a tight game midway through the second half.
MSU and OSU play at 4:00. (Root for whichever you dislike less.)
Kansas State plays Kansas at 6:00. After rooting for KSU all year, we now want them to lose to protect our seed.
UNLV vs. New Mexico at 6:00. A UNLV upset would be great.
Syracuse vs. Louisville at 8:30. Very important for Louisvile to win here.
Nix and Payne have a collective IQ of 1/2 a McGary.
Between rolling the ball in and getting it stolen + foul, and this flagrant foul, if OSU wins can we count this as a SPARTY NO! ?
The ball roll was classic Sparty NO! so long as they hold on to the loss.
Though, as someone who wants to ensure a hefty return on my Palace tickets if we don't go... Go Staee.
is classic wolvie no when you lose to a garbage Penn St team and go 6-6 in your last 12?
Says the fan of the team that lost terribly to Wisconsin a round before MSU. It's fun to poke but technically they did better than us.

This guy has been gold.
Midd Tenn St. is going to be a really interesting case tomorrow. Great record, but not much in it. On the other hand the other bubble teams don't have much in the way of quality wins.
Did not like.
I've got to say, Thad Matta is a better coach than I thought. I used to think he was basically your standard "good recruiter, bad bench coach" type, but he's done a nice job this year.
I use to never understand how Michigan fans could hate Nix but after watching his dirty playing style, seeing all the tweets by him posted on Mgoblog and comments I now understand your hate. I'm so glad to see that he is leaving MSU.
New Mexico only leads UNLV by two at the half. Come on Rebels...
Kansas wins - good result for us. Now Louisville needs to take care of Syracuse and we can breathe a little easier.

Louisville's offense does not look good right now. Not sure if its because they can't set up the press/aren't very good in the half court, or whether Cuse's zone is to tough for them right now. Either way we need Louisville to get it together to hopefully ensure Michigan a spot in Auburn Hills.

Wow, what a turnaround in this Louisville-Syracuse game! Rick Pitino must have given one hell of a halftime speech.
