Sanctions.... now what?

Submitted by ander2ta on

So - now that Michigan has proposed the Sanctions, what happens?  Does the NCAA have 90 days to respond/reject?  Is it done?

Now the media can move on.  None of this was ever close to being as big of a problem as they made it out to be.  They can now continue their endless speculation of LeBron's new team.

We hope that there arent a bazillion threads on this topic rehashing the same ideas and just like stated above, we move on.

What kills me is that there are people out there who think the punishment should be more severe. I mean, it's practice. Not money laundering, illegal recruiting, etc. Practice people practice. Cmon now...

Hopefully the coaches instill an "us against the World" mentality in the team, and we blow through the season with a vengeance.  A chip on our shoulder would be beneficial.

We win many games with our now "experienced" quarterbacks, and all this becomes a footnote to a long and prosperous run by RR!  Fall can't get her quickly enough and to quote Wyatt Earp:

"You tell 'em I'M coming... and hell's coming with me, you hear?...
[louder]
Hell's coming with me!"

Go Blue!

Brian, we all hope you're right, but how do you know that's a forgone conclusion? I realize that UM has had a former Infractions guy advising it, but how do we know that the current infractions people are going to see things the way that UM does? Or are you supposing that our infractions guy has been privately in contact behind the scenes with the current NCAA infractions people?

Bowl restriction is not part of probation.  Basically all probation means is that we can't screw up during that time or they drop the hammer on us.  Death by infractions committee.
