I thought of this last night and just want to get it out before the 24 hrs is up!
MSU is STILL letting convicts back on the team.
MSU STILL nearly MSU'd the game, but they got lucky that Tate may have tried to do too much (whether he was trying to do too much or not, it was obviously an errant throw). If we were in the situation next year, or any of the next 3 years with Tate, he probably makes a good decision there.
Yes, it's a Loss in the record books, and no I'm not talking about moral victories here, but MSU really got lucky in Overtime. They outplayed us for all but about 6 minutes in regulation but just like Same Old Sparty, they waited until the last 6 minutes to stop playing.
They're not a new team with a new attitude. They are still a team with convicts who live for one game a year, get the lead in that game, and give it away at the end.
But on to Iowa! A win next week puts us in a good spot to challenge for the Big 10!
