I dunno, Sam has beeb consistently saying that this years NSD for Michigan was going to be quiet. I do not think he would come out and say this if there wasnt a realistic chance of a surprise conmit.

Sam will sell the hell out of the car dealership that sponsors his show, but I've never heard him say anything about recruiting that later proved unwarranted...Of course, you can make a good business decision and say something based in reality at the same time.

Sam scrupulously avoids BS when it comes to recruiting. He knows accuracy, honesty, and circumspection are his bread-and-butter, and that horseshit will only hurt him in the long run with future recruits and their coaches.

Perhaps. It sounds as if it is another under the radar type though. I liked the last surprise though. Henry looks like a potential player. Trieu is a buddy of mine, and he really likes him.

Issues like a knee blowing up early in his senior year of high school and the coaches still taking a chance on him and then realizing the kid can't play? That doesn't seem like a KID with issues if you ask me.

But saying a kid has "issues" sounds like his grades are bad or he was arrested or something like that. Blowing out your knee doesn't qualify, IMO.

The kid didn't have "issues." The coaches took a flyer on him and his knee was too messed up for him to be effective at the D-1 level. Plus he gained some bad weight throughout his year of not playing. I don't think either of those are "issues."

DGB wouldn't be a surprise. Isn't it understood that he is already part of this class? I think for it to qualify as a surprise it is going to be DGB, Garnett, Dunn, Diamond, Wright and Banner. That would be a suprise. A mild surprise, but still a surprise.
