Sam Webb on Hakeem Flowers, Kris Frost, and Jack Tabb

Submitted by ademock27 on

For anyone who didnt listened to recruiting roundup this morning, Sam Webb stated that he believes that Michigan currently leads for Frost and Flowers and if they picked today, both would pick Michigan.  He also stated that it is his opinion that it is down between us and UNC for Tabb's services.  Just a little more good news for the holidays.

If Tabb were to pick today, it wouldn't be us. He's waiting until after the holidays to make his decision now. He wants to see what happens with the coaches, and then decide.

Even if Rich Rod is retained Tabb still has reservations about how long Rodriguez will be here after this next year. He really likes Michigan, but that's weighing on him a lot. He told me he's going to think about everything over the break and really look at Michigan's situation.

My thoughts exactly!  Highest expectations at UNC in recent memory, and...this, for all intents and purposes, an impolsion.  And your telling me the coaches, those responsible for..wait for it, wait for it, oversight aren't having their abilities questioned?  Davis may have "built" a championship team at the U, but he doesn't have it on his resume, soooooo...

Same thing that USC and Kiffin told eveyone.......everything was going to be fine.........but didn't happen that way.  I would have more reservations about UNC right now.

So whether these players come on board makes little difference.

Consider this; how may games would have Michigan won this year without a terrific performance from DR? He caught most teams by surprise early on but as the season progressed his were not nearly as good.

Granted some of this would be related to his injuries (and you expect more next season) but also teams are better prepared for him.

Take DR out of the Michigan equation and it would not be a .500 team.

beyond your comprehension. The difference between good and bad teams who loss a star player is good teams overcome and still manage to win most of their games. There is not way in hell the present Michigan team can win half their games without Denard. Capice?

that PT is there for the taking in the near-term. That fact being said,  I guess if I knew that I would play football forever  I'd wouldn't  value the Michigan experience & education.  Sarcasm.  I'm struggling with the coach thing vs. the school and their long-term future.  Sorry, not thinking like a kid anymore.
