Sam Webb Gets Cryptic: Another Committed Defensive Player (or 2?) Visiting?
Via Sam Webb from last night (didn't see any posts). I asked if it was Reon Dawson and didn't get a response back. Anyone have any guesses?
Another elsewhere-committed defender expected at #Michigan this weekend. A kid not mentioned before
Not mentioning name yet so as not to introduce the complications that MAY preclude another potential visitor from making it in.

Sam speculated on how the class will end up on this AM's Recruiting Roundup. Speculation only:
Feels really good about these three:
-Derek Greene
-Dave Dawson
-Reon Dawson
Feels less good about these but still his guess:
-Another OL, Cam Hunt or maybe Dan Skipper
-A LB prospect

At first I was puzzled who the hell Derek Greene is, but then realized you meant Derrick Green.
I heard Sam's guess this morning as well, and it's interesting he did not mention McQuay or Treadwell. I'm skeptical that Green will end up here.

I don't follow Scout as much as I do Rivals so I'm not sure if Sam Webb has mentioned him yet before. However, you're probably right. I've also heard rumblings about Marquis Little from Boston College the last couple of days via this here blog (again, since I've heard it I doubt it's him).

Magnus, thank you for lowering expectations that the player isn't someone we're already aware of and doesn't have a star rating that will excite everyone. Now our expectations can soar as we imagine every 5-star defensive prospect in the country. All the hopelessly optimistic fans thank you.

Marquis Little will be at Rutgers this weekend and Temple soon after, according to BC's Scout Homepage. So i doubt its him.

How stupid it is to just randomly guess who these "mystery visitors/commits" might be, with no information or word at all. Saying Kozan is no more pointless than any other name unless someone has actually heard something and is revealing it.

I think the 2nd tweet is in regards to Reon Dawson. He put it out there that he was going to visit this weekend and then got bombed with phone calls.
Difficult to be a high level recruit anymore. What 4 major recruiting services all wanting quotes? Not to mention all of the upstart blogs trying to get in the recruiting game.

I read on twitter the other day that one scout thinks Reon Dawson is a better CB prospect than Cam Burrows. So if we snake oil him, maybe he turns out better than Burrows and Conley after all? One can dream. Need to land him first.

Cam Burrows has received very mixed reviews. I'm a little surprised that he's still ranked so highly by some services.
