EDIT: Got rid of the potentially misleading "to Michigan?" addition to the title

Otherwise this will not end well.

Like maybe get rid of the "..to Michigan?" part?

Sorry, I should have been a bit more informative. The original ending (with a ?) sort of suggested that there are beginning reports of his commitment.
Good link though. Thanks for the post.

I think your current title might be misleading (even with the ? at the end). Looks like this is basically a piece reveling in the fact that he's 6'10" and a soft commit to Tennessee.
Also, what's with Ole Miss being a player for so many recruits that we want? They must be recruiting pretty well or something.

6'10" How tall is too tall? The guy might be a monster but I imagine that he would have to have perfect technique to avoid getting constantly out-leveraged.
Edit: kid's got a nice offer list.

7'3" is too tall.
December 20th, 2012 at 2:20 PM ^
Ed "Too Tall" Jones was 6' 9". This guy is taller than Too Tall!

December 20th, 2012 at 6:19 PM ^
But I would guess Too Tall was playing against opponents that were a couple inches shorter than Skipper's opponents would be today.
That's what I like about these football players. They get taller, I stay the same height.

To my face.
December 20th, 2012 at 2:46 PM ^
so, uh, you can't say it to his face, ya know?

There were rumors that he did this with defensive recruits that were offered by Saban.

How old is this guy? He must be in his 40s if he's a Colonel ("COL") in the military. Get it? Laughs? Anyone?

He's only a colonel in the way Colonel Sanders was a colonel.
December 20th, 2012 at 4:18 PM ^
"The Japanese Nippon Professional Baseball league has developed an urban legend of the "Curse of the Colonel". A statue of Colonel Sanders was thrown into the river and lost during a 1985 fan celebration, and (according to the legend) the "curse" has caused Japan's Hanshin Tigers to perform poorly since the incident."

I'm not sure what I like more: that there was a Col. Sanders statute or that they threw it into a river.

Maybe Bobby Layne should have tossed WCF into a river on the way to Pittsburgh.

Damn that's a big teenager! And in regards to Urban Meyer offering guys after Hoke does, they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

I know a guy here in Vegas who played OL at UNR, he's 6'10 and wound up on the Bills roster, but had a spinal injury in training camp and had to call it quits. So 6'10 isn't unheard of for an OL.

If the non-stop radio commercials and billboards mean anything, I would assume that you might have luck at "The D" a brand new Detroit themed casino in downtown Las Vegas.

Jonathan Ogden is 6' 9" and he's a future hall of famer, so I'm not concerned about height as long as they can move well with quick feet.
December 20th, 2012 at 2:57 PM ^
one heck of an O-line for years to come with or without the skipper.
December 20th, 2012 at 4:43 PM ^
Just saying... although two 6'10" bookend tackles could make for an interesting pocket to pass from...
December 20th, 2012 at 4:49 PM ^
I believe Denzel Ward is also 6'9" or 6'10"
