Sam Webb with Chris Bryant

Submitted by Glutton on

Sam interviews Chris in todays Detnews.

His last quote has me feeling good.  ""My father always preached to me that you cannot play football forever, you need something to fall back on, so academics are going to stand real strong for me. Just kind of a powerhouse football, place known for football, a great college atmosphere for football, just very supportive and a good football team, great coaches. I want to go to a place that is known for football and academics at the same time."

None of the other programs fit the "powerhouse" mold.

Texas.

I don't know if they're recruiting Chris or not, but they certainly fit the profile, perhaps better than M right now.

This kid could be a beast one day, hopefully he chooses us.. We really need to win, imagine what kind of talent we could pull with a winning record

This poster may be a fat-boy (Glutton), but Bryant surely isn't.  It is eye-candy to see photos of the player and the tag "330lbs" and not see a fat boy. Bryant looks to be a solid 330lbs. Being a trim 330lbs at this age, bodes well for having an NFL body when he truly fills out going forward.

This was my morning cup-of-joe, and outdid the espresso.  Thanks to Glutton (original poster).

Gino:  Unless you are a 17 year old girl or Dennis Green's son, you may want to find another way to refer to a recruit other than "eye-candy."   It's pretty creepy.

I have always been creeped out when guys talk about recruits as "studs" - and this is just as bad.
