IF he makes the team you mean.  You guys do realize that undrafted FA's have a very, very slim chance of making the team right?  And it's not like Sam was snapped up by the Raiders the first day after the draft either.

Unfortunately the same core problem Sam had in college (size) becomes much worse in the NFL.

He has a shot at slot WR, where a shifty, smaller guy can make a living (although you're right, McGuffie hasn't really demonstrated a lot of durability, and that WILL be a problem for a slot guy trying to thread the needle over the LBs, but in front of the safeties)

It was posted here on 4/27, then officially reported a couple days later.

Note that some of the players reported on the list haven't shown up yet on rosters or officially announced by the teams, so they were most likely not UFAs but invited to camp for try-outs.  Demens, Kovacs, Mealer, Omameh, Roh and Roundtree are on the official team rosters, which doesn't mean they are guaranteed anything longterm, but they are officially on the team for now and treated as such, unlike try-out players, who aren't even paid (I believe they get room and board for minicamp).

Occasionally they get signed, including one James Rogers (yes, our James Rogers), who was invited into Chiefs camp for a try-out and was signed yesterday.  Obviously he showed something in camp.  (Quick!  Someone tell Brian!)
