A sacrifice to the Angry Michigan Hating gods...

Submitted by Wolverine Incognito on

Hey y'all.  Well, it's that time of year again.  Ever since I became a Michigan fan in 2004, I have been waiting for that win over Ohio.  And every year, I end up a little more disappointed than the last.

This year it looks like it is finally going to be different.  But I implore all of you not to get overconfident.  For those of you who have read TWIS this week (http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/2011/11/22/2581322/oklahoma-state…) the Angry Michigan Hating gods could be waiting to go Squinky (http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/7006213/misery-rooting-oklahoma-sta…) on us this Saturday.  I think we should take measures to appease the Angry Michigan Hating gods.

I for one, am going to offer them a sacrifice, and I encourage all of you to join me.  On my ESPN College Pick'em, I am picking Ohio with a confidence of 10.  (I have no hope of winning our group either way, so don't think I am trying to sabotage anyone! And on my Freesportsbet, I am going to drop a bet on Ohio.  Hopefully, if enough of you join me in this endeavour, it will appease the Angry Michigan Hating gods to the point where they will see no need to break our hearts this Saturday.

Arriba Azul.  Go Blue.

I'm sure Brian wouldn't mind if people dropped a couple extra coins into the "beveled guilty" donations plate ... you know, to helpo people clear their consciencesand restore the proper karma balance to the world.

At this point, I'd do anyhting for a win.

I've really enjoyed these last 8 years and I hope that this year will maintain the status quo.  Also, I really hope they do not decide to rescind the land grant that created MSC.  They truly deserve their place as a place of higher learning.

Is that how this thread works?

Is a consistent, spiral throwing machine.  He let's the coach give him the play, and he executes it brilliantly.  Shredding defenses is what this guy does, and it doesn't matter how big, how fast or well studied your defense is; he's just gone.

Also, Fickell is a brilliant tactician.  T. Pryor is innocent.  Columbus doesn't smell of the rancid foul of a million putrescent beings.
