S Demar Dorsey Visiting??

Submitted by umhero on
This "OMG Shirtless" recruit is mentioned as a visitor in a thread topic on the Scout premium board. I don't know when he's supposed to be visiting, but from everything I can find on the web, he is not very firmly committed to Florida. I suppose Matt Elam's recent commit to FL may have Dorsey looking around? Here are his details: Ht: 6-0 Wt: 175 40: 4.35 Position: S Year: Class of 2010 High School: Boyd H. Anderson HS (Lauderdale Lakes, FL) Ranking: 4 Stars on both Rivals and Scout, 5 Stars on ESPN Pos Rank: Rivals #18, Scout #26, and ESPN #2 Found on the web: He was supposed to visit Tenn before the Kiffin defection is now looking elsewhere, maybe FSU. Gatorsports Blog Offers: Florida Florida State Tennessee North Carolina Rutgers West Virginia Wisconsin Miami (FL) Looks like he could be a great visitor. It appears the staff has identified a weakness in our safety depth. It's nice to see that they noticed. Go Blue!!

I would too if I was trying to make one of the biggest decisions of my life. I'd imagine it's an incredible amount of pressure on these kids and their families. With all the instant gratification going on in the media/blogosphere why add yet another variable to your search process?

The coaches might be seeing Rashad Knight slip away so they're going hard after Dorsey. Anyway, Dorsey's a very good player. He had a good week of practice at the All-American game and looked good in the game, too. I don't think we'll get him, but if he comes, this would probably be our best defensive back recruiting class ever (or at least since Rivals and Scout started up).

ESPN has him listed as the 12 overall player in the country. I know you have to take what they say with a grain of salt, but none the less, this would be a great pick up. I bet if he commits to Michigan he drops down to a 4 star

Can we stop whining about Michigan recruits dropping in the rankings? It's really, really annoying. And who gives a damn? They're going to be the same players, regardless.

"No Fly Zone". Good feeling about this kid, looked like Devin was working him hard and they got along great. Devin and Denard, Ricardo will be there to greet him when he arives in AA. Hopefully they can get him to convert over to boys in blue.

I watched parts of the UA game and I kept saying to myself that it wasn't fair that he was going to Florida, literally every time I turned the game on he was making a play. Dude is a true ball hawk. Dorsey and Parker would make a nasty combination, crossing fingers for both.
