Way too quiet, just won't speak up and so the team won't follow him.

My two cents: from the 70th row of the big house, the word that came to mind when watching Peters from his first throw was "quiet." He just looks very smooth, and his ball comes out very quietly, even when it has some zip on it. I am very encouraged because if we get to point where we are showing very good quarterback play, the Death Star should be complete. Or, at least as complete as this staff can put together in a program where the recruits aren't paid and the players actually have to also be students at the university.

Those same insiders said O'Korn was unstoppable during his redshirt year. So yeah I don't care what they say.

In Brian's write up, we read that Rutgers had ZERO sacks on the year. Well, now they don't.

for Harbaugh to put in Peters.

He should retire. Not going pro, don't risk your future mobility

Generally speaking, it's not a great idea to encourage the transfer of your best QB.

Did you see that O'Korn game at Purdue? Why was Speight ever playing, right?

This is a deplorable comment, especially with Speight nursing 3 broken vertabrae in his neck.

just uncalled for. kid has been thru a lot in his career. great competitor imho.
and a bit early to anoint Peters. he looked really good - just like Okorn at Purdue.
to be clear, i thought Peters looked very confident and i am optimistic.just not ready to discard Speight.

and running game came to play. They were doing well even before Peters came in. After they were even better but they played well from opening snap

The quicker decisions and throws were a huge difference.
Can't get too up or down over small sample sizes though; Peters did a lot of good things but that last throw on 4th down was just horrifically bad.

seemed like thar was THE target for the play.
Speight always seemed to make the right decision. (NOT dissing Speight)
delivering the football ON TARGET is just as important.

Agree, found it a little.worrisome, but I'm putting it down to rushing the throw and having it be a learning experience.

yeah well if that throw on fourth down, up by three touchdowns is the worst throw a guy makes in a game shouldnt you be happy? Finding the one thing he didnt do perfectly in your eyes is why fans get so upset around here, because that is not the way to look at performances.

Because he didn't need to much. His decisions were considerably better than O'Korn's.
