Rutgers lands 4-star quarterback Hayden Rettig (transfer from LSU) for 2014 season
Rutgers returns Sr. Quarterback Gary Nova for 2014 season, but they just landed LSU-transfer Hayden Rettig (4-star Scout.com) who is immediately eligible
Rettig is 6-4, 205 lbs. Tall, lanky shotgun type. Strong arm. Not a lot of footspeed though.
I don't think I've ever seen "YAC" so accurately crystallized than the first 7-8 passes of that film traveling about 25 yards total in the air and about 80 yards on the ground.
I know you weren't trying to rip on John per se but being a slow QB who makes simple reads isn't necessarily a bad thing.
Also, there was an enormous difference between 2001 John Navarre and 2003 John Navarre.
He was forced to start before we was ready becauce of Henson leaving early.
lolutgers
We just took a Pac 12 transfer like 10 minutes ago...
Sooooo the line jumped from 14 to 13 now?
Rutgers fans are extremely excited about this. They expect him or that QB from Shane Morris's school to be the starter in 2015.
Gio was the backup to Shane at DLS and he started for one season. He is a tall big kid, 6'4" 240 lb kid who runs a 4.65 40. He was undervalued and under recruited in my opinion and I think he will become a solid QB at Rutgers.
but don't sell the Illini short when it comes to discussing the B1G cellar.
So you think that the post about who won the MegaMillions is more thread worthy than a post about a Big Ten competitor?
Rutgers is on the schedule for the next two years, so if this kid ends up starting he's likely to play against Michigan.
No, but nobody's forcing you to read the post, either.
