11W poster said his source who saw practice said he went down in pain after a no contact throw.

Sounds like Henne's sr year injury.

They're still dangerous though.

He is quite a talent, he and Troy Smith always impressed the hell outta me. Also two of the buckeyes I hate the most. Hope he fully recovers.

I think this is pretty cut and dry.

Shoulder = OSUredhl.  OSU Red Home loss. They will clearly piece together a red retro getup for the game, only to suffer a home loss. Now where did I put those poppy seeds...

I dont know what the f*** sort of witch doctor Dantonio employs but that man scares me.  They go basically injury free for past 18 mo and key players from UM, OSU, Oregon go down - Oregon lost its top WR to ACL this spring and LT this past week.  Now Braxton.  Dantonio damn you.

My thoughts are I feel bad for the kid.  I wouldn't wish injuries on anyone, not even a rival.  So I wish him the best for a recovery.

But I do take delight in the Buckeye fans pain.  After a decade of sleezeball Tressel getting them free tattoos, cars, hookers along with those wins, a slap on the wrist thanks to their athletic director's connections and Pryor keeping his mouth shut, then Urban Meyer just falling into their laps thanks to insanely good timing...it's long past time America's worst fan base got some bad karma.

OT Years ago there was a sign on I-70 that proclaimed Huber Height (home of Braxton Miller) "America's largest community of brick homes". Wonder if that is still, or ever was, true.

I don't think anyone feels sorry or is sad for OSU and definitely not the fan base. If your a former/current athlete you don't like to see guys go down. Especially for season ending type injuries. It's a lot of sacrifice and hard work that gets put in to being an elite playmaker on this level. And let's please not compare Mgoblog and our fan base to that of what they have going on down there. If this was DG, they would be popping champagne and cracking jokes on 11 warriors. We show class and do things a little different up this way. It's how it's always been since I've been around and shouldn't change tonight with this news.

Jeremy Fowler @JFowlerCBS
Braxton was throwing a basic out route in a non-contact drill, grabbed his arm/shoulder area, said he felt something, they took him off

Braxton took a hell of a beating the last 3 games of last year. We pounded him, MSU did, & the bowl game he got hammered. I dont hope for injuries to our rivals - but if they happen, so be it.

I saw the heading at 11W, with more than 150 comments. When I clicked through, the site melted down. Can't get on. I don't think he'll be able to come back . . . what are you going to do? Tell opposing defenses to take it easy and not hit him hard? He's a marked man.

OSU fans probably didn't give two shits when they beat us in '07 without Hart or Henne, and I'm sure they didn't give two shits about beating us in '08 when our offense was an absolute tire fire. So I don't feel bad for them.

Hard to imagine him out for the season. Anyway, OSU's upcoming night games (Virginia Tech, Penn State, Sparty, etc.) should be interesting.

I hope you can't throw for ohio ever again. Good luck beyond that, and yes I would like a grande coffee.

First off, hope for a solid recovery for Braxton.

That said, I'm interested to see how Urban know deals with a thin depth chart at QB.

Call me crazy but I thought Kenny G. was a better all around QB than Miller. Miller has more big play potential, but Kenny was prone to less mistakes. If Jim was still coach I think Kenny G would have had much more consideration as a starter.

Now that he is gone it'll be interesting to see how Meyer molds a team around a freshman or another young guy. ohio is still loaded with plenty I talent, but with a young line and new RB this injury surely hurts.

I know this story. He's held out of the first six games, comes back and wins out (or nearly) turning in a super hero worthy performance against Michigan. You think Aaron Craft was gritty? Wait til you see Braxton 2.0.

I don't like to be cynical. In fact I am a glass half-full girl, but I've seen too many of these doomsday scenarios for our opponents turn out in their favor.
