Rudock = Rudock
After his performance against Rutgers, Rudock now has the exact same adjusted QBR as he did last year. He also has more YPA than 2014, and his Interception/attempt ratio is now lower than 2013. Coming around?

Now, he has to get rid of the other, evil Rudock immediately!

What the hell did I just watch? Hugh Jackman v. Hugh Sackman?
November 10th, 2015 at 4:27 PM ^
That's nice, but I wish it were more spread out ...particularly concentrated in the Utah and MSU games.
November 10th, 2015 at 6:57 PM ^
I wouldn't mind things being skewed a little towards the final regular season game.

Jake Rudock is a fine, game managing, QB that protects the ball and moves the chains well.
Jake Ruddock is the interception prone turnover machine that we've seen at various times this season. Each additional D added to his name worsens his completion percentage.

Jack Ruock is an unstoppable force.

Jake Rudock is an immovable object.

My best friend is the driver in ford's current ad campaign. The version that's played the most only has him on screen for a couple of seconds. There's a longer version that has more of a storyline. It was a three day shoot in central Washington. I feel better about myself having told all of you this.

Rocks!
November 10th, 2015 at 4:34 PM ^
I think the play calling and players around him are somewhat reason for that. Still do not think he is what he was last year yet. At least versus teams that are not rutgers.
November 10th, 2015 at 4:36 PM ^
This is stupid comparision since he plays in a different system, with different players, in a different stadium, in a different season.
I hope that he and all the players improve week to week.
I am actually more worried about the runnning game now.
November 10th, 2015 at 4:55 PM ^
The running game is a BIG concern over these next 6 games.
November 10th, 2015 at 5:10 PM ^
6 games- i like your thinking
November 10th, 2015 at 7:28 PM ^
The 6th game is the only one to worry about as obviously the run game was good enough to get us that far.
November 10th, 2015 at 5:48 PM ^
that we can't ever compare quarterbacks from two different teams?
November 10th, 2015 at 4:41 PM ^
Did 2014 Rudock get to play Rutgers? Cause one game agaisnt Rutgers makes you a 25% better QB for the entire season.
November 10th, 2015 at 4:42 PM ^
He had wide open receivers all day Saturday. But it was great to see, no doubt. If (a big if) he can keep up a similar level of production for the next 3 games, we'll be in Indy.
November 10th, 2015 at 4:53 PM ^
Of his throws were on target as well. He was not throwing the ball behind his receivers.
November 10th, 2015 at 6:59 PM ^
More than hitting wide open WRs, I liked that he also threw to guys somewhat covered and let them make plays. He hit some tight windows. His timing was better, and he seemed to open up a little, let go, and trusted himself and his WRs.
November 10th, 2015 at 4:49 PM ^
Int to attempt ratio is better than 2 yrs ago when he threw 13??
We were not expecting regression to 1st year starter Jake. We were looking for 2nd yr starter Jake as a floor. Then improvement b/c Harbaugh and b/c "not held back by LOL conservative Iowa OC".
Nice cherry picking though.
Even if was exactly 2014 Jake that was a player who was benched for a young with less experience. But we would be pretty content with that guy and that guy probably has us undefeated.
He is what he is good and bad. And like we all know if hhe was not here a lot of potentially scary things may be happening with the offense. He is like a solid old shoe. But we just wish he was the 2014 shoe...or a bit better.
November 10th, 2015 at 5:27 PM ^
Everyone is still piling on him for that 3 int performance at Utah. Take that game away as an anomaly and his stats are fine. This comparing from year to year business is not the best way to evaluate ruddddock IMO
