That would mean great games, a ton of wins and a bowl game.
I'm in on this!

Here's to our offense being so bad ass this year we won't even need a secondary.
Roundtree is the man, hopefully Tate or Denard will get him the ball more next season.
Next Season?!?!
I'm concerned about THIS season
a preview
Love the stiff arm on #2 and the ups against the suckeyes.
What's that saying about going from 6 to midnight?
Yowza.
That is a *crazy* vertical in that second pic.
I'm guessing he's around 36" in the air there....which is impressive in a workout environment in gym shorts.... but he's doing it in full pads and in a game, which is just insane.
tay? everybody must've forgot about him.
I like Odoms and all, but a Biletnikoff candidate? I don't see it.
The kid has made some spectacular catches in traffic as a true Freshman and Sophomore. Go watch the last drive against Notre Dame again, as an example, where he made a ridiculously clutch catch over the middle.
There is a middle ground between "terrible player" and "Biletnikoff candidate." He's in it. He's not a liability, but he's not close to being the best receiver in the country. We're talking about a two-year starter who has one career receiving TD.
I love the kid but I agree. I see him making some huge plays this year by the power of his will alone. He's tough and he's a fighter and that counts for something.
Great WR blocking doesn't win too many awards, but Odoms is a great blocker.
He was very clutch early in the season, but people forgot about that when he went down to injury and we started losing to everyone on the planet.
In his first two seasons, Odoms caught 71 passes for 715 yards (10.1 avg) and one TD. Basically, he's been a solid possession receiver. He's not a Biletnikoff candidate.
I can see what you're saying, and definitely I agree with that. Still, he's a hell of a player when he's healthy, and hasn't gotten to complement Roundtree yet.
but below the watch list they add:
Don't be surprised if a Michigan State wide receiver -- Keshawn Martin or Keith Nichol -- earns midseason consideration for the award.
I still don't understand why Nichol makes every reporter's dick hard and I think it's preposterous that he's even mentioned in this contest as anything other than a "definitely not" candidate.
Reminds me of Wes Welker. He has heart. He's a FOOTBALL PLAYER. [insert 12934 other adjectives used to compliment white athletes]
that's why.
i hate these preseason watch lists, but i'm not sure i could imagine anything funnier than seeing them release a "definitely not" list along with the usual watch list.
That guy must drink the same magic juice as Dantonio.
its going to be an exciting year for the Biletnikoff: Floyd, Green, Baldwin and Jones all trying to one up the other all year long.
Floyd, who, who, and who?
Michael Floyd (ND), AJ Green (UGA), Julio Jones (Bama) and Jonathan Baldwin (Pitt). Its going to be a deep WR class if there is a draft next year.
would be happy.
You forgot Roundtree on your list.
He certainly made an impression at the end of the season last year; but he isn't a very likely candidate for 1st round draft status next year so I will leave him off my list for now. Definitely be following him as the year goes on though
I'm excited to see our entire offense on the field. This just adds to the anticipation.
It's not easy finding the 6 Big Ten guys on a list of nearly 100 from over half the teams in division 1...
I mean, I'm glad to see Roundtree on this, but in all honesty the list isn't really that exclusive, they basically take the best receiver from 3/4 of the teams.
Let's talk about this - Ricky Stanzi on the Maxwell watch list? They're really reaching on that one.
.. but I think Hemingway is going to be just as capable of making big plays as Roundtree. Either way, I'll be content seeing someone earn that #1 jersey this year.
Roundtree put up huge numbers in just the last 4 games of the season. Ill be excited to see what kind of numbers he will put up the first 8 games when he is playing the whole time.
What's impressive is that it was against some of the best competition we played all year. He wasn't getting much PT against Western, ND, IU, and Sparty's terrible secondaries.
Is a beast..
