Roundtree Question and a Few Comments

Submitted by UM Indy on

I haven't seen anything mentioned so forgive me if I missed an update, but what was Roundtree's injury/how bad is he hurt?  I was hoping he only got the wind knocked out of him.

A few comments about being at the game, probably not original content:  I couldn't have been more proud to (1) witness Brock Mealer walk (2) be amongst the largest crowd to watch a football game EVER and (3) see Michigan play an inspired, fundamentally sound game and get the W.

The renovated stadium exceeded expectations - crowd flow MUCH smoother, more amenities and easier to get to, just a fantastic job.

Yeah about crowd flow... There was a hugeee line trying to get into section 18 and walking through the concourses was impossible at 3:00 PM.  I may or may not have cut in front of someone and only had to weight 10 minutes to get to my seats.

Roundtree just had the wind knocked out of him. He was fine after he got up and ran off the field. He took a pretty good hit though, getting sandwiched between the two tacklers. I thought he would have had more catches yesterday, guess he's saving those for ND next week.

He got hit in the chest so hard that he coughed up some blood. Denard has to try to not lead his receivers into that kind of hit. The good news is he was released right away and he said he was fine to play next week

You can't see it on the You Tube clip, but on a big screen you can see his eyes through the visor and it looked like it was a concussion - no focus in his eyes at all.

Doesn't matter how many times I see that look in someone's eyes, it always freaks me out a little. I hope he is OK.
