Harbaugh news of the day.

For #Michigan fans curious about Jim Harbaugh: Booster Stephen Ross is much more interested in him at U-M than with #Dolphins

anywhere saying she wants to stay in the bay area.  Show me proof.  It was a made up reason why he took the SF job, so they wouldn't have to leave the bay area.  Despondent UM fans make up reasons why things do go their way.  Harbaugh most likely didn't come here last time because he was never approached by Brandon not because she didn't want to move to Michigan.

Just like why Miles didn't come here the first or second time.  He was never offered the job.

God the internet is sooo full of crap

Mr. Ross obviously has his ideas and they apparently have worked for him so far.  Does anybody know what the buy out on JH contract is and would it be a stretch to suggest Mr. Ross would committee to doing whatever financially he has to for JH to be the next head coach at UM?  I don't think he is obligated to do that just for stating his opinion.  Are there those of you who would expect that to happen?  Has anybody come up with the figure for Hokes buy out?  Is there an amount that any of the assistants will be owed?  Just wondering.

is what I pretty much meant above. Other than "no comment" he can't really reply any different if asked without it being construed as tampering. Ross could mean it but he also isn't losing anything by saying it and then trying to hire him when it's allowed. Week 6 was his deadline to publicly suggest he wants Jim to coach Miami at no penalty.

I thinks he's credible; I guess the only way to figure it out is to follow him and see if what he says comes to past. He was spot-on re: Brandon, and his blogs on the subject appears to be legitimate (as far as speculation goes, i.e. it's not outrageous that's it's sounds like he's pulling it out of his behind).

Totally thought this was referencing James Ross though...maybe I'm an idiot.  Either way, lets get Harbaugh!

Interesting quote. Interesting timing. On the day Florida makes a move Ross states his preference for JH. Perhaps we're not as idol or inactive as some would believe. In the words of Gollom, 'Sméagol always helps, if they asks - if they asks nicely.'

A few days of sunshine and warm weather are overrated.

  • Bay Area has dangerous earthquakes -- Ann Arbor has the Art Fair
  • Bay Area has dangerous brush fires -- Ann Arbor has the benigh Hash Bash
  • Bay Area has gridlocked traffic -- Ann Arbor has football players on twosies

Come to Michigan fergodsakes!

EDIT:  Look at how happy snow makes your family.

Enough with the wife stuff.  Really?  His wife wouldn't let him take a dream job at his alma mater where he's already a legend and has the chance become an immortal, because she's comfy in the Bay Area?  Come on.  If he wants it and our AD/President don't somehow blow it, he's coming.

Nothing will be done or announced until AFTER both seasons are over, first our season must end BEFORE we can fire the Hokester, then, the 49ers season must end BEFORE we can hire Harbaugh. All of this speculation and rumor are fine, and give hope to a weary fanbase, but I'm begining to wonder if this could somehow short-circuit the hire the way that the Les Miles hire was allegedly short-circuited by Herbstreit and the media back in 2009. BTW the 49ers won again today, and may indeed make the playoffs. If JH has to answer a bunch of questions about the Michigan job in the media, he may do what Miles did then, and we miss out - so lets not miss out. GO BLUE.
