Assuming you're off your rage high by kickoff.
Mike Spath points out that doing an interview for the official site is a pretty good indicator he'll be back.
Can't make up for the outback bowl, but a win for the badgers would make a little more jolly.
Can we rename this the "will Wisconsin score?" thread?
Score or Score 70?
Meh they had one incredible game against a bad defense. They're still pretty terrible. 4-4 in the weaker half of this years big ten? They aren't going to run all over Stanford's run defense and they can't throw at all.
Who gets the ring, bielma or Alvarez?
Is the Stanford band allowed at the Rose Bowl?
Wisconsin's band will destroy them. /nerd'd
Makes them "edgy." And everyone knows edgy is "cool."
Alvarez is a boss.
So of course in a game where both sides look alike, no uniformz. Go figure.
Did he just pronounce Jane Goodall's name like Roger Goddell? I mean there is no reason necessarily that referees should be up on their chimp research, but he could have asked first.
Did they just trot out Luck to make a sales pitch for the NFL playoffs?
Ha intentional grounding on a running back has to be a first.
B1G needs an upset in this one
Man Stanford's O is sexy. Look at them own the dline every play.
Well I am sure this could have started worse, but I can't really think of how.
Might have happened had Ditka been flying the plane.
Ditka doesn't need a plane to carry a bomb around.
Don't be so negative! They may revoke your citizenship in Wisconsin.
It only took about 17 minutes of regulation play for Wisconsin to complete a pass, and for a 4th and goal at that. The Badgers' offense is really running on all cylinders today.
.....and stopped. Still 14-0 Stanford.
Think Wisconsin's AD should fire the head coach for not having Ball in on that 4th and goal.
Wisconsin's band just played "Shots" by LMFAO. Oh wisconsin...
I still can't get used to the Rose Bowl being on ESPN. Force of habit still makes me turn to ABC first, ready to hear Keith Jackson.
Either Curt Phillips is a better rushing QB than anyone thought or Stanford just couldn't believe that a Wisconsin QB with three knee surgeries to his name could ever be that effective on the perimeter. Stanford seemed to have an indecisive "I don't even" moment before they began chasing him.
I too had that moment.
Love watching Alvarez.... Does this mean Woodson could have returned to Michigan today? That would've changed things
big ten. yeah.
With two teams wearing uniforms that aren't obnoxious and neither one running a spread I feel like I am watching a game from 1995 and I like it.
Hanging better than I would have thought. I would have thought Stanford would be up a couple TDs by now.
So... Does Barry decide his bonus for making it to the Rose Bowl and the $50000 for winning?
Huge defensive struggle. Designed tailback run plays go for about a yard a pop. Quarterback scrambles get maybe 5 or 6.
Let's have the Big Ten lose another game, but cover. Sigh.
The Big Ten always sucks in the Rose Bowl. It's a death sentence to play there!
Couldn't they suck by 1 more point? Half point covers are brutal.
I enjoyed that interview with Shaw.
What a dick
Think he was getting pulled by bowl officials and ESPN people. Who didn't properly communicate with each other.
Haha I feel bad for those sideline reporter chicks. Totally dissed. And with her on audio saying "Are you kidding me?"
Wisconsin...losing rose bowls since 2010.
I've been waiting to say that ever since big ten champ game.
Their blowout of Nebraska followed by their third straight Rose Bowl loss made the conference look as weak as humanly possible.
That's not entirely true. We'll look even weaker with Rutgers and Maryland losing bowl games as well.
The worst part though, is they aren't the first team to lose three straight Rose Bowls though. That dubious honor belongs to us...
Wrong! We are the second. Cal is the first.
It was all Josh Garnett
2-5 in the Bowls, 5-2 vs. the spread. (Or 4-2-1 depending on whether you got our game at 5 or 6)
Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades, and if you took the points.
