I did not make this headline up
You might be wrong
Thank you Baby Jesus!
um....you 've might've "called it" one play too soon.
State can be lucky a lot but they're also something we're not...well coached.
Stanford doesn't have great athleticism at the offensive skill positions.
If MSU actually runs that end-around later, they're going to stick it in the end zone.
That ain't good
Wow. Didn't see THAT coming.
SPARTY NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DUMB DECISION
Well that was a Sparty No if I've ever seen one. Holy cow.
Sparty NOOOOOOO! lol
God I'd love to see Michigan be able to call defensive audibles like that. Or offensive. Or even have any semblance of a general gameplan...
Something from our playbook!
Next time Cook has to do it falling down. He will master it with practice
MSU students are representing their university so well when they chant "First down bitch!" in front of national tv cameras.
Wishing they were Jesse Pinkman.
Drove me nuts when I was at the game in East Lansing in November. Fricken D Bag fanbase.
Is it really a sparty no if they're in the rose bowl? It kinda loses it's luster for me.
It's fun to see that happen to someone besides Devin Gardner.
can you catch this one?
He got away with one earlier.
LOL pick 6!
MSU is doing whatever they want in the passing game, that brutal screen notwithstanding.
Nice response by Sparty - they are resilient. Looked like a small push off by WR there.
Now all of a sudden Sparty has awesome receivers. Defensive TD aside, this game belongs to MSU. Since the opening drive Stanford has done next to nothing and their defense can't cover anyone.
Dammit Stanford D! Get in the game!
My guess is MSU wins this game running away. Stanford has been thoroughly outclassed since their opening drive.
Yep. Stanford really hasn't moved the ball well since their first drive. If Staee scores to open the second half it is over.
Like I said. What a joke by Stanford. Pretty easy when MSU has the refs in their pocket.
is a total little sister comment
This is gonna be a good second half, folks.
I remember that was a weakness going into the season.
Nah the OL was not a weakness coming into 2013; it was in 2012 as they had a slew of injuries. They brought in a new coach from OSU to help the offense and he focuses on OL and TE. They had a ton of injuries to OL last year which is why their offense was a tire fire (as well as Maxwell not being a gamer) now all those guys came back healthy plus they have a ZERO star RS freshman I believe playing one of the tackles and an all american freshman (dont quote me on the award but something like that) at center and rotate 8 guys through the OL so that next year when they lose a few to graduation they are not starting from scratch. You know - thinking ahead....
That's the difference with Dantonio - that sort of play under old Sparty regimes meant the end of Sparty for the day as they mentally implode. These teams bounce right back like gumby.
Super conservative teams play right into MSU's hands. No reason to not run that out if you are going to kneel anyway.
You should at least take a few shots there with 28 seconds left.
They look strong, fast and agile. Execution gets a lot easier when you have a physical advantage.
Just disappointing to see UM lack the ability to play physical football. We won't play in the Rose Bowl until we have the same S&C results.
The only guys who look big on our team is jake Ryan and Thomas Gordon. Maybe it's because we are young.
We are not super young everywhere - take out the interior of the OL and almost all starters on UM are upperclassmen. All except Ross and Countess and one DE that start were upperclassmen on D. The backups are young, as are every team in America. Go through the starters on defense - they are not freshman and sophomores. Its a myth to make people feel better about the underachievement. The starting RB was a sr, Gallon is a sr, both tackles are srs, our QB is an upperclassmen, etc. Except for TEs and interior line on offense the team's starters had plenty of upperclassmen.
Well, the two main RBs are all freshmen, the second WR is a true sophomore, the main TE is a true freshmen. On defense, Gedeon was a true frosh, Ross a sophomore, and major contributors at corner were either true or RS freshmen. This wasn't the youngest team in the world, but it was laden with veterans.
