the prob w a lot of these guys deciding on signing day is that they're total flakes. looking forward to next year!

If he just found out today that the guy recruiting him to UCLA is bolting for the NFL, then this is not him being flakey.  This is him reacting to UCLA being rather shady in his recruitment.

At least he found out before his LOI was signed.

the only subject in your post was Georgia, you didn't even mention UCLA once. Therefore I don't think it is a stretch for someone to assume that you're talking about Georgia and not UCLA. I'm just saying; making fun of someone for comprehension problems when you wrote an ambiguous post is pretty "shady" if you ask me.

If we don't get a transfer (at 14, thought 16 was the # for 2015).

A&M has 25 signings already.  I _think_ they will have 69 juniors, sophomore, RS and frosh on their roster, excluding early exits, injuries, etc.

Sounds like they fit right into the SEC?

We had 6 spots going into today and filled 5.  This is with assumptions both Glasgows and Kerridge get schollies.

I dont know A&Ms numbers nor do I think it matters how many "openings" they have.  In the South and OSU they sign what they want and then attrition happens after the fact.  As long as they get down to 85 by the necessary timeline what happens between now and then doesnt seem to matter much.

I saw earlier before he made his declaration that there were some people on 247 changing their pick for him to Texas A&M which really kinda surprised me considering they werent really in the running down to the wire it seemed. I also agree with the reporters tweet above a Georgia kid who waited till the end and still didnt pick Georgia just seems like he was being kind and keeping the home team in it till the end so he didnt have to deal with the backlash of all the fans so close to home.

I am sure it is probably just an updating issue but.......on the UCLA 247 site there are a number of recruits listed as "Hard commits" but no LOI sent in yet.....on that list is Smith as well as one K-L-S..........................................................

I'm not sayin'...I'm just dreamin'

for Michigan that I can remember.  At the end of the day though, I think Harbaugh and staff did a decent job of filling up the class in a short period of time.  I look forward to the 2016 class when they have the benefit of a full year to recruit and more openings.

That is SO messed up.

This is what Coach Ulbrich said, according to Smith:

"Yes, he did confirm that with us that he did have an offer. He was very candid and honest. He just hated that it broke on social media before he had the chance to call."

That last part strikes me as complete garbage. Before he had a chance to call? All the while UCLA was pressuring him to sign. When would he have had an opportunity to call? AFTER Smith was already committed?

Just to be clear in light of Mike Weber's ridiculous comments earlier about U-M somehow deceiving him: this is how a program truly deceives a recruit. And it ain't right.
