Ron Bellamy (former Michigan WR) coaching for a state championship
This is probably well-known to fans of Michigan high school football, but in case it's not, former Michigan wide receiver Ron Bellamy (who played from '99 to '02) has his team, West Bloomfield, in the state championship of Michigan's top division:

Good luck, coach!
My dad travelled around the state to watch HS football every year. He would have been at that game to cheer on W Bloomfield. Alas, he died in June 2015 - just a few months before Jim started coaching.

Too bad that the game takes place during the Game. It'd be cool if they cleared that 12-3:30 window so the HS fans could watch it too, but I guess Sparty would complain...

Had Terrell, Walker, and Edwards as the go-to guy his last 3 years.
Still remember that weird play Lloyd ran against Iowa where he was the QB and passed the ball between his legs

Heard only part of the Lions game this afternoon, but they showed a shot of Jake on the bench, and I could've sworn they said he was calling the Michigan high school championship. Did I hear correctly?
