I for one hope Brady does well tonight.

Well, maybe not cheating but a lot of people found the officiating favoritism granted to Jordan and the Bulls to be a farce. Myself included.

I know Brady and all, but this kinda feels like OT to me

Nothing breeds contempt like success does. People hate consistent winners and Brady, Belichick, and the Pats are the greatest dynasty in NFL history so of course the jealous masses will be taking their shots at them whenever they can, this behavior is entirely predictable.

They should hate the Giants (both of them), Spurs, Wings, etc. They don't. You have to be an idiot not to realize the reason for that.

Lots of people hate the Spurs and Wings. I dont watch baseball enough to know if people hate the SF Giants, and despite 2 SB rings in the last 10 years, on average the NY Giants haven't been good enough to hate. Even in the 2 years they won the SB, they didn't even win their division. Then they won it once and have gone average like .500 in the last 10 years and want to fire their coach every other year.

People respect the Spurs. Everyone respects Pop and Duncan. Same for the Wings. No one hates Nik Lidstrom.
I'm a Stars and if anyone should hate detroit it should probably be me, but I never have.

Okay you can't generalize every sports fan and say people like the Spurs or Wings just because some "respect them" or they have a good image in the media. Trust me...many people hate both of those teams despite your perception that "everyone" respects those teams.

They have the best dynasty in modern NFL history. They are in the running with the early-mid 90s Cowboys for the second best dynasty.

You'd have to put the 70s Steelers at the top of that list...all very good dynasties

Meh. Salary cap era makes their run more impressive than San Fran's and significantly more impressive than what the Cowboys did.

It was a completely different era, with a wildly different free agency and cap situation. What the Patriots have done is about as amazing a run as you'll see in football.

Oh this post is so perfect and proves literally everything I posted above. Thank you!

There was the matter of at least 8 teams and their video recorded signals.

Is a great example of the arrogant response that causes most neutrals to hate the Patriots.
