I understand all the Roh love on the board as he was truly impressive for a true freshman on the line, but I thought Herron made a few plays as well. While Roh did the start, it seemed to me they split snaps about 50/50, does that seem right?
One play from Herron in particular caught my eye: in the first half Herron got sucked inside on a shotgun read, and was taken out by the guard(I think). He gets up, turns around and catches the RB from behind after like 8 yards or something. He may have scored. It was a crable-esque freakshow of athleticism and effort, after a crable-esque mental error. (Although maybe it was his job to crash on the qb to force the handoff for a LB who missed his assignment or whatever, I'm not going pretend to know).
Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised if Herron gets a few more snaps than Roh against ND, as I think ND's run game is a little more straight forward and it's possible Roh was better suited for the Western spread.
