quite a few times to visit and got the offer from Hoke and Borges on Friday. He said he's going to be working out for the staff, and if all goes well he will receive a full scholarship.

Maybe he has misinterpreted what they said? It doesn't make sense that they would offer him a half scholarship.

Maybe this is how the B10 is going to up the SEC in recruiting numbers..See how A&M likes it when we have 56 kids on signing day but only 28 schollies given out..pure genius

I'd this is legit, everyone chill out. The board reacted this way when Conley was offered and accepted last year, and look how he turned out. If the coaches offered this early, they must really like him.

But with Conley, people were (stupidly) disappointed with the commitment, but people had at least HEARD of him; his name had come up earlier, and the recruiting services acknowledged his existence. It isn't out of the realm of possibility that the coaches went Channing Stribling here, but it just seems so out of the blue that people are skeptical.

I am gonna call BS on the kid having a offer. He tweeted a picture of him at a Michigan Volleyball game supposedly from today. Only problem with that is Volleyball ended in December.

will be the death of us. Coaches can't confirm a commitment at 2 in the morning, and insiders are sitting at their desks going "WTF?". I'm inclined to believe this isn't a commitment but a potential offer with the kid taking it the wrong way thinking he could commit.

Well, if he's truly a 2014 commit, hello! Rodney does have letters from Michigan, other B1G schools, and Hoke's alma mater, so there must have been some interest shown. However, stealing McGary's Instagram photo seems shady. And I would imagine that claiming to have a partial scholarship is a common lie told by walk-on players. Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to watching the highlight video that Rodney plans to post tomorrow. Also, I noticed someone sent him a tweet around 14 hours ago asking if he was going to Michigan. Rodney replied, "@jeeffrreeyy08 if I don't get a scholarship nowhere else." That made me pause.

this is a lie. The kid said he was at a volleyball game yesterday, well volleyball season is over. this picture was from a previous time that he went to a vball game. we are going to find out that this was a hoax.
