This is where Trey hits the 3 pointer:
After the game is over:
After that cupcheck in the beginning, I love that they turn on Elijah Johnson at the end of the game.

Yes, but if anyone looks like the goat, I don't mind it being the guy who punched McGary in the nuts for some stupid reason.
Yeah maybe I wouldnt hate KU if they weren't dirty dick punchers

Well yeah. I'm pretty sure that the internet in Kansas really is a system of pneumatic tubes.
That would save a lot of gas, but I guess there'd be a lot of tubes.

The only KU fan I know was my roommate this past summer and he is pretty awesome. Very knowledgable about the game and definitely represents the University well. They're actually my 2nd favorite team now because of his awesome fandom.

I have no ill will toward them..sucks for them to go out like that.

Surprising how respectful and under control they all were considering how badly they blew that game.

Mark Titus wrote some predictions for todays games and one of them involved what Bill Self would say to Elijiah Johnson before the game. Its hilarious.

I can't even read those threads. With the way M lost to Wisconsin and to Indiana in heart breaking fashion, I can only imagine how KU fans feel right now. My bathroom door still has a crack in it from the Indiana game....

Don't feel bad for them. They won the national title in 2008 and made the Final Four last year. They've reached their quota of recent hoops glory.
I agree that they handled the loss pretty well, though.
and they punch dicks. No MERCY!

One of my classes at Michigan this semester is taught by a visiting prof from Kansas. He was super confident Kansas had this in the bag. Can't wait for class on Monday!
Johnson did have it in the bag... McGary's Bag! (rimshot) /neg away

Something I learned from that thread (early on in it) is that KU was 26-0 when Releford scored 9 points or more.
Now, 26-1. Bwahahahahaha!

until McGary got punched in the nuts. Now I kind of enjoy their misery

...lowbrow to seek enjoyment in their misery, especially when our focus should be on rejoicing in a hell of a comeback.

I read through that thread and the thing that stood out to me was how they accepted the loss. It is almost as if they didn't realize they were the number one seed and losing half their team for next year. My guess is they were in shock and it will hit them later.
Agreed. Actually bumped my opinion of Kansas fans upward a notch. Not that it was low to begin with. I've always kind of pulled for Kansas in the tournament.
... and would have won if Burke or McGary had been any less magnificent. Props to Kansas and to their fanbase for not, say, melting down when their players missed free throws in an important game.
....on various Kansas sites, something I had admittedly never done until now, is interesting. For the most part, they are pretty sensible and contemplative. Many of them did a very good job of keeping the discussion in some perspective, I thought. It is nice to see that you would get very little argument from Jayhawk fans on one thing in particular. One fan on his disillusionment with Elijah Johnson:
"The lasting image of EJ as a Kansas Jayhawk will be him cheap shotting Mitch McGary in the nuts and then passing up an easy layup to send the game to double OT. That's not a good image to go out with and it will do major damage to EJ's legacy as a Jayhawk. "
