Meh, what did you expect? We can't really say anything. DUI and assault both resulting in similar penalties sits ok with me. Glass houses my man.

When OSU led off against Toledo, they almost bought it. There are a few MAC teams that could pull it off. Toledo, NIU, maybe Ohio or WMU. Other than that, nope.

OSU kept missing tackles and giving up really long plays in that game. OSU gave Cal a shot at competing. If they hadn't duffed all those tackles, OSU would have won running away. Cal is switching over to a passing spread and they're starting from a severe talent deficit. Besides, playing in Berkeley is basically like playing in Evanston. It's not much of a home field advantage.

Surprised he got suspended at all. Police report said video showed he was pushed multiple times by bounchers before he "lunged" at them.

I am guessing that Urban believes that he has really hurt his chances of beating a team that was 94th in offensive yards per game, not to mention 108th in yards per play and 106th for 3rd down conversion rate. That doesn't include Buffalo's incredible 122nd rank in red zone scoring and 119th in points per play.

Sounds about right.  Initial reports made Hyde and Roby's offenses far worse than they played out; 1 game is appropriate for what amounts to being idiots in the off-season.  I just hope Meyer doesn't get any props for his handling of the cases beyond those usually doled out to coaches.

Umm, let's not sweep Hyde under the rug. That man struck a hundred pound female. That's disgusting. If I ran a team he would be gone. Roby, 1 game seems appropriate.

Losing Hyde, Smith and Roby for that game means you might have to shave a TD off the 35-point margin the Buckeyes are favored in that contest. Maybe. So instead of a pair of featured seniors at running back, you go with Brionte Dunne and the rest of the stable, which means Miller runs a few extra carries and takes the yards the others would have gotten.

It's not exactly like this is tailback U and that Robey's absence changes the defensive gameplan against a Buffalo team that is somewhat competitive with a decent quarterback but will still get blown out by the Bucks, missing players or not.

run the triple option all game long and catch OSU off guard in a stunning upset. Talk about a loss that could derail a season.

Sadly it probably won't happen.

Buffalo's QB last season Zordich went 108-206 not so great but threw for a total of 1,264 yds with 9 tds. His receiver in Neutz had an impressive 1,015 yards receiving and tallied 11 tds. Their RB Oliver had 148 carries for 821 but only scored 5 tds. Might have had an injury somewhere along the line. Might be more of an interesting game than people think. Don't know much about their defense though. They finished 4-8 last season and 3-5 in MAC play.

I bet if they were playing anyone worth a damn they would both be playing and Urbz would be championing what great kids they are that made mistakes.. Urban Meyer only recruits choir boys.. Let us remember that

...the season opener was a conference game?

This is one of the reasons that isn't done any more. Got to open with a cupcake or two to get the off-season suspensions out of the way.
