Robot Henne on BTN

Submitted by BlockM on

Robot Henne is about to initiate "BANG COEDS" on BTN right now. Fourth quarter already, so you've missed all the boring parts where MSU takes the lead.

...set_target: MANNINGHAM

but he could still have a great game tonight. The Pats D is not what it used to be and Henne has some weapons this year. Biggest problem is the Dolphins actually letting him throw. They seem to have him on a tight leash in most games.

And mind you, this is a game where all of the following things happened:

* Shawn Crable tracks down Javon Ringer after 71 yards having missed the initial tackle behind the line.

* Ryan Mallett comes in for a wounded Henne, takes an eight yard loss, the ball pops out straight into the hands of Mike Hart who runs it for 19 yards and a first down.

* Henne executes a perfect drive to take the lead, capped by one of the prettiest touchdown catches I have ever seen a Michigan player make, a leaping, falling backwards grab my The New Math.

And yet, in spite of all of this, it's the moment when Henne is running off the field, by himself, up the tunnel, trips on the turf boundary, picks himself back up, and then leaps up and slaps the "You Are the Program" banner that hangs above the Spartan Stadium tunnel.  It's just a perfectly absurd little cap to an amazing game.
